Do not get me wrong, I am not trying to absolve myself from any blame, but I do find it a personal failing to ignore threads written about me - without some sort of contribution. |

It was as much aimed at all the people who insist on joining in - which includes myself to a certain extent - as at the protaganists. Also note that there are plenty of argumentative threads about/with GB that are unrelated to you - it's only the current issue that has you at the fore. So it was even less aimed at you! |

I guess it really is a case of over-sensitivity on my part, and while I realise that may be a feeble excuse, I hope you understand and accept my apologies. I also view that whilst ALL QZ members disagree with each other from time-to-time as being both healthy and constructive, I do not agree with witch-hunts against ANY individuals - especially if it is just for the sake of another witch hunt. And if Greg happens to be the target for one of these cheap attacks, then he too should not be expected to be exposed to such ridicule. On the other hand, I do not think that debate by itself, (or discussion for discussions sake) should not be discouraged either. After all, it is a music forum, and why else are we here if not to discuss that? |
