The second time I saw Queen was at the Music Hall, Boston in 1976... 10th row center. Great show! After the show me and two friends were hanging around in the back alley, smoking a joint, talking about the show when two black limos pulled up and into the alley. There were about ten people in the alley. The drivers got out and opened the back door, then the back door to the Music Hall opened and there was Queen with Joe Perry from Aerosmith about to get into the limo; also two very hot chicks with them. All the people in the alley rushed to the door. I went around to the other side of the limo and opened the car door. Face to face with Brian May I handed him my program and all four Queen members signed it...TOO COOL... I still have it to this day.

Read your bit about Joe Perry in the alley behind the music hall getting into the limo with Queen. I was sitting behind Aerosmith that night. They filed in late... the whole band with their girlfriends... watching Queen along with my friends and I... I was 15... They filed out early so as not to be noticed during the encore. The concert was great... and honestly I had seen Aerosmith several times and Queen were just soooo much more interesting and original. I had also seen them at the Orpheum for Sheer heart Attack tour. Didn't like them when they became a stadium band... moved on but after all is said and done I've come to appreciate that phase as well... eventually.

saw them at the music hall in boston, one of my favorite concerts ever. i always loved brain may's guitar he had a different way of making it sing than anyone else. I also saw jeff beck w/ jan hammer doing wired there, greatness. also Jefferson starship, I believe for some reason that grace played for that concert. papa john creech played fiddle that was an awesome.
