It was on 2/5/74 at the Agricultural Building In Allentown Pa. Mott the Hoople was the main act and Queen was the opening act. We got there early and it was a stand up concert. My spot was right at the stage center. The crowd was so into every song, jumping up and down and clapping and singing along. I was pushed against the stage front Freddie was about 3-4 feet in front of me for their whole set. He was so charasmatic that I couldn't take my eyes off of him. Their music was incredible and his voice was spectacular that night. After the concert was over we were disappointed that they were on first as Mott the Hoople weren't nearly as good. I don't have any recording from this concert (wish I did) but thought you might enjoy hearing from someone who was practically on stage with them that night. Wish I had thought to get an autograph.
