Hmmm... Liverpool and Ac Milan... not a big fan of any of them... But I think I'm going to watch the final tonight. Whatever happened to that beautiful team Real had in 2000-2002? Oh well... may the best win!
Liverpool must win, for 3 reasons:
1. In Liverpool plays a chilean footballer called Mark González, and probably he'll play all the match, because of Zenden's injury.
2. Because of the 2004-2005 final match, where Liverpool was loosing 0-3, and finally won on penalty kicks. And that's a good reason to win again.
3. I'm a Internazionale de Milan fan, so Milan must lose xD.
Mark Gonzalez wont play he has been pretty crap this season. I know it is his first season at Liverpool but still I really think he might get sold in the summer. Liverpool to win on penaties again is my prediction!
They'll be weeping on the streets of Wrexham...
Does this mean Dudley Fufkin will now have to go an entire year without posting on here?
Given that we usually only hear from him when Liverpool win either a trophy or a game against Man Utd, it would appear so....
Well, Gerrard had a shot, but that was a pretty good save. Man U will be back strong next time, but Milan deserves the win. Great game. If only everyone here in the states could have seen it...
I didn't think that Milan was particularly more aggressive than Liverpool, but given that they took advantage of their goal opportunities they deserved to win.
Finally watched it (was working, so taped)
Milan, while not the best, took advantage of what they were giving. In the end Milan was the better the team in this game, while I say 50/50 could have gone ither way.

never mind Stevie G, we'll do it next time!!!!
"Should have won"???
You didn't score enough goals to win. Goals scored is how the rest of the world judges the better team (I realise on Murkeydive this has been replaced by penalty taking)
"Next time"??????
This season 14 points worse than last. Nearer West Ham than Man Utd. They're either on a downward spiral, or just about to turn yet another of Roy Evans' legendary "corners".
Carlsberg don't sponsor Champions, but if they did it'd be because they switched teams...

Man Utd fan eh. 2 finals in 3 years compared to Fergies 1 in 21 years. Yeah we're a long way off the league right now but watch this space......
Okay, this was not the best final, but I think Milan showed their strenght in the semi-finales. I'm happy for Seedorf. He is so underrated. Although he didn't played really well yesterday.
Can someone explain to me why the board of executives at a team let's a brilliant striker at the top of his game like Shevchenko go, and instead they get a washed up tubby like Ronaldo?

Money?
About Seedorf.... he WAS underrated here in Holland. Now the only one underrating him is Van Basten.

Getting further off the league too...
is "watch this space" rafaspeak for "turning the corner"??
Oh, and while we're at it, Liverpool fans are hypocrites - 18 years whining about justice, then storming a stadium cos there's a game they fancy seeing. Wankers.

Shevchenko wanted to go to Chelsea, they probably thought he would not have been so happy if they hadn't let him leave.
Even if Ronaldo is not Shevchenko (and I have to say I did not like his arrival), he scored 7 goals in 12 games which is not bad at all. He surprised me.
