Yes, it's on the album Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe...
Not to be confused with The Butthole Surfers album "Anderson Walkman Buttholes and How!"
Queen, incidentally, has a B-side called "Soul Brother"

Sweeeet... someone here knows ABWH!
The version of Close To The Edge on the live album released in '93 is probably the best they've ever done!

I've got the CD, An Evening of Yes Music Plus, but that DVD has been an elusive one!!! I know you can get it commercially, but $50 for 1 DVD? Aargh!!!
I saw the Sacramento show on the first tour in 1990 and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
Gee, and I was hoping someone here knew The Butthole Surfers!!!

Yeah... I totally won't pay that either!

I was 8 years old then... lucky you!

I know them too...I have the Yes Live in Denver '91 bootleg with Yes+ABWH.. Queen should do a show with Barry Mitchell, Tim Staffell, and all the guys from Wreckage/Sour Milk Sea.
Ah, Bruford and the Simmons drum solo that never was. Looking back, I wish I had seen that tour. With Levin as well as Squire.
Very disappointed how Jeff Berlin performed in 93, but then he only had a week or so to prepare I found out later.
Ah, Bob, you never heard the tale?
Bill Bruford signed an exclusive deal with Simmons to help promote their electronic drums. So on that Union tour, he brought his $10,000 drumset. Yes, $10,000. I'm not sure which show, but when it came time for the double drum solo, good ol' 10K took a whizz and Bill was stuck soloing on his High Hat, while Alan did all the rest. Alan did a fine job, but that was pretty much the last straw for Bill and Yes.
Yes, he had officially quit several years earlier.
Well, it took a lot to get him to do that Union tour. A lot. He was really the lone hold-out. After shamless begging and pleading and several checks, he came back. He even tried to make Patrick Moraz a condition of his return!! Once back, he was quite unhappy with the whole production and was quite vocal about that fact to the other players. When the Simmons deal happened, Alan really shined. Probably his best solo ever and it basically embarassed Bruford right back out of Yes.
I had my Butthole Surfers period in the early 90s, when they were truly revving up. I still have Locust Abortion Technician on vinyl, and listen to their version of Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf." Insane.
