Yesterday I finished reading yet another book about Freddie and as I did, I once again got overwhelmed by sadness. What is the answer to the question AIDS? Why is it that man, who splitted an atom, who put a man on the moon can´t deal with the HIV virus? Please do as me, visit link and donate. Love you Fred.
Bah!
I've already donated!
well...it wasn't much, but I can't help that - the radio doesn't pay me enough to work for my brother :(
but I do miss Freddie, I wish to give him a BIIIIIIIIG hug - damn bastard died...(You know, I really am not a loving person, but I am... and that doesn't even make sense...)
hello, well i wish freddie were here, the last time i saw him it at wembley stadium back in 1986, i consider myself so lucky to have assisted to possibly the best rock performance ever with an extraordinary freddie and an amazing brian, i mean after listenning to love of my life, you just say these guys are not good , they are freaky good.
Yeah, your lucky. I´m not old enough to have seen Freddie preform. I was 6 years back in 86... Just a little to young. But then I vent to see Queen + Paul Rodgers and I must say he did a great job, though he´s not replacing Freddie. They all gave a great concert.
I have diabetes and I got it through genetics, not lifestyle. How about donating money to find a cure for that? Or cancer? Or or or or.... The list is endless isn't it?

Yes, of course. But the shitty part of the HIV/AIDS virus is that in some third world countries pepole just don´t know anything ´bout it. It could be stopped but practicing safe sex, using clean needles etc. etc. The Mercury Phoenix Trust works with just that. HIV is something you can´t cure. Unlike cancer or in your case, diabetes. Sure you get to poke a needle in yourself every now and then, (I´m sorry for your sake, and I wouldn´t wanna be in your shoes) but you still can live with your decice. And a cancer can be removed(not that it works in all cases). But seeing and reading about this wonderful man fading away just got me going. So unfair...
I understand where you're coming from but I don't agree with just giving away condoms for safe sex and needles for drug addicts with no end in sight. Education is what is needed, not just throwing money at a problem until it goes away because it won't go away unless people take responsibility for their own actions. What is happening in Africa is awful and to see children suffering is always unbearable but aids/hiv charities & governments must learn to draw the line somewhere regarding what money is spent on. And education is always the best method.
PS. There is no cure for diabetes
