Here is the show that was just shared on Dime (thanks!) for everyone who doesn't have an account there or who prefers to support Queenzone :) Here are the notes from the Dime post: Queen The Game / Flash Tour 1981 Canada, Montreal, The Forum November 24th, 1981 (AUD) Trade CDR > CD RIP > WAV > Lossless Check > FLAC Special gig from end of the Game/Flash tour for the Queen's first official live video called "We Will Rock You" the video is compilation of the both nights (24-25) therefore I removed some tracks on it Queen and audience on fire this night. Especially, Freddie is in top form. definitely invincible vocal shape! Queen played "Under Pressure" for the FIRST TIME! so, Freddie sing it like the studio version. hit all the high note (even falsetto!) Disc 1 Intro (removed due to official release) We Will Rock You (removed due to official release) Let Me Entertain You (removed due to official release) Play The Game Somebody To Love Killer Queen (some Freddie's intro speech about clothes removed due to official release) I'm In Love With My Car Get Down, Make Love Save Me Now I'm Here Under Pressure Flash The Hero Disc 2 Keep Yourself Alive Drum Solo / Guitar Solo (removed due to official release) Crazy Little Thing Called Love (removed due to official release) Bohemian Rhapsody (removed due to official release) Tie Your Mother Down Another One Bites The Dust Sheer Heart Attack Jailhouse Rock We Will Rock You We Are The Champions God Save The Queen Review: Here we have the audience recording from the first night in Montreal 1981. There is already an official video available from this venue which is a compilation over both nights and that video misses the songs Flash and The Hero, but this recording has them both. It misses the songs Dragon Attack and Love Of My Life. The overall soundquality is Very Good, so it is enjoyable. Nice rare recording to have as this is only from the first night, so basically this recording includes new material if you compare it with the official video. (link 376 MB. Good download and enjoy! :) |

Hang on. This is an audience recording of the first night, yes? BUT, because some of the songs have been released on the video in a completely different sound quality, they've been removed from this download? Am I correct with this statement, because if so, then this is complete madness and taking the "no -official sharing" rule to the extreme. |

Sir GH, What is your opinion of this show? Can somebody here make a complete version of this or give us the missing tracks? |

This recording proves the audience was very enthusiastic!!! |

We Will Rock You (removed due to official release)
Let Me Entertain You (removed due to official release)
Thank you.

Double-U 22.01.2009 02:42 |
I downloaded the last part again and I had no problems, also not with extracting the files. So, please try again. Sometimes gigasize is a little bit strange. @doctorab Actually I'm not sure if the songs "Killer Queen" and "God Save the Queen" are also official released tracks. I want to say they were not included, that means I never deleted them in the past. regards W. |

Hi, thanks for sharing! The recording is great! One question: In "Save me", during the second chorus, you can hear the piano at some points (or am I wrong about that?). Who played it then? I always thought that Freddie switched to the piano right AFTER the second chorus and Brian stopped playing the piano at the beginning of it. I'm just curious how they managed that. [/img] |
The Real Wizard 23.09.2009 12:56 |
There's piano right after the second chorus, as Freddie takes over while Brian plays the guitar solo. But as far as I can tell, there's no piano in the second chorus itself. |

Here's another example of where I lose my files in a hard disk crash, upload them somewhere else and they don't quite fit :( The remainder of Killer Queen and God Save the Queen have disappeared, as has the info file. Sorry about that! Maybe it would be better if I reuploaded this with what I have so that this will complete. What do you think? |

If the missing tracks do exist, we'll have to find the taper. It shouldn't be that hard to track down someone who taped a show 30 years ago when Zeppelin collectors are regularly finding tapers from 1969. |
