The most outrageous part of this whole thing is listening to her defense lawyer talk. "It boarders on lunacy that the judge gave Paris Hilton 45 days in jail for this...." Like, just because she's Paris Hilton she can't go to jail! pfft. We can only hope it will straighten her out, but I doubt it. She's been spoiled far too long. I say, get her, Linsey Lohan, Britney Spears, Alec Baldwin and David Hasslehoff together in there and let them get drunk and berate each other until one is left standing... then shoot whoever it is. |
Gratzi 05.05.2007 11:29 |
I've seen some footage in the morning... and I've asked myself- isn't this only for more publicity? I mean, it doesn't matter that you are Paris Hilton, blonde and so on, but can one be that idiotic as to drive without a license and over the speed limit. I understan she has other values than rest of us, but come on, woman! |

Mr.Jingles wrote: Now the big question is... Can Paris Hilton go 45 days without sex? Although those leaked cell phone pics prove that she's very into the girl on girl action.Do you know what? I find the way you talk about Paris Hilton and the like incredibly malicious. I've been noticing this for a long time. You're allowed to have a low opinion of them, I know I do, but your constant derogatory comments are really starting to wind me up. You don't know them, you only know the medias representation of them. Fair enough, there's the Paris Hilton sex tape, but it's not her fault that it went public, and what she does in the privacy of her home is up to her. Also I'm no feminist, but what should it matter if a female enjoys having a lot of sex? I know sure as hell a lot of men do, and they don’t get called offensive names. If you don't like them that's fine, but there really is no need to be so rude. |
Mr.Jingles 07.05.2007 11:02 |
Dear Freya You're entitled to your own opinion and that's fine. Yes, I do admit that my comments are malicious, but the behavior of certain people like Paris Hilton just make them easy targets and I can't help it. Think about it. This stupid cunt was driving drunk and got away with it because daddy's wallet's got her out of it. The average folk wouldn't be able to pay for the money to be bailed out, but somehow Paris Hilton thinks that money could buy anything. She should have been put behind bars back then, but she was just way too lucky that our judicial system is too weak when it comes to applying justice to the wealthy. She was given probation and a suspension of a license, which she ignored because she was totally convinced that daddy's lawyers would deal with the issue if she got caught again, but justice was a bit more tough than she thought it was. She got what she deserved, and that's undeniable. P.S. I will still make "malicious" comments against people like Paris Hilton, Donald Trump, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, P.Diddy, Lindsay Lohan, and all the likes who think that they're better than anybody else for having fame and tons of dough. |

Let me explain something to you that maybe you weren't too clear on. THE TAPE WAS RELEASED BY PARIS ON PURPOSE. Read that line again, if you're confused. It will probably go down in history as one of the most perfectly planned media campaigns in history. Before that tape, she was just another trust-fund bimbo. After that tape, she was one of the most talked about female celbrities. Why? What films and albums? Just the one. So before you attack Jingles or try to defend Paris, realize that this is all self promotion. You don't think so? Watch the news for the next 45 days. CMU HistoryGirl wrote: I say, get her, Linsey Lohan, Britney Spears, Alec Baldwin and David Hasslehoff together in there and let them get drunk and berate each other until one is left standing... then shoot whoever it is.Huh. So now you rank Alec Baldwin a criminal? I'm the last one who should be defending him, given his patriotic beliefs, but what exactly did he do that was criminal in your book? Yelled at his kid? Better break out the cement and shovels, because we're gonna need a lot more jails then. I've never called my daughter a "worthless pig", but even if I did, your answer is to shoot me? We need more gun control. |

However, I don't think it's really Paris' fault that she was let off, it's society's fault really, that money can be used to get people out of their problems. If I'm honest, if I thought money could get me out of going to jail, and I had the money to spare, I'd give over the money. I don't agree with what Paris does, and I'm not sticking up for her, I'm not a Paris fan in the least, I just don't always agree with your attitude towards her and others. *edit* We were always told "If you don't wanna do the time, Don't do the crime" Paris Hilton should take heed... You never know - a bit of time might do her the world of good - she will learn from her mistakes. If she is that worried about getting duffed up - they will do like they did to the Chapmans when they were thrown in the slammers - put them in solitary confinement for their own safety. Except the Chapmans didn't deserve it... Anyways... |

Well, the wealthy are the only group that it's perfectly socially acceptable to criticize and demean (I'm not saying that's justified, it's just true). Even in our overly politically correct society - you won't get an iota of heat from criticizing a rich person. In our society, demeaning Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, Jews, homosexuals - and even white people - is social suicide. I suppose Southerners pull a close second to rich people, but it's still much less tolerable. Hell, we all like demeaning people, even if we don't admit it - might as well demean somebody and have it be socially acceptable at the same time. |

<b><font color=666600>Music Man wrote: Well, the wealthy are the only group that it's perfectly socially acceptable to criticize and demean (I'm not saying that's justified, it's just true). If so, then Bill Gates would be the perfect target for demeaning. Sure, he gets tons of crap for the constant Windows flaws, but it definitely has nothing to be with his wealth. Paris Hilton happens to be an easy target because she never worked to earn the huge amount of wealth she has. The only thing Paris Hilton did an effort to earn was fame, which is exactly what she got after blowing Rick Solomon, then he leaked it (the tape I mean) and Paris Hilton achieved A List status. |

<font color=0099FF>Killer Queenie wrote: Paris Hilton should take heed... You never know - a bit of time might do her the world of good - she will learn from her mistakes.ha ha...nope. She won't learn from her mistakes. Something like this will not change her lifestyle. Not one bit. Even Paris's attitude towards this whole thing shows it. She was quoted as saying, "I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwarranted and I don't deserve this." Oh no!! Poor Paris Hilton is going to jail for 45 days because she BROKE THE LAW. How was she treated unfairly? Has the judicial system, in conjunction with state and municipal laws and regulations, somehow tarnished the great name of Paris Hilton? Listen to me. Anybody, celebrity or not, has to pay the piper when they do an act that is deemed illegal. Whether it's a minor traffic offense or a felony charge...we may not like it, but we have to deal with it. Do celebrities really think they immune to the law these days? That's sad. Paris got exactly what she deserved, but I will be prepared for the media crap-fest that will surely absorb our society for the next two months... |
Killer Queenie 08.05.2007 14:37 |
^ Agreed. Just beacause people are famous doesn't mean they can get away with breaking the Law. She knew it was a punishable offence - and ta-da! She broke the law simple as. End of story. I rest my case! (forgive the pun!!) |
