Well... don't label yourself. :/
And don't limit your interactions with others based on anything presumed "label" or "class". Do use common sense, though.
High school isn't anything special, in my opinion. If you don't act like a "Freshman", you won't get treated like one. People were always surprised to find out I was a "Freshman" or a "Sophomore" or whatever - because I didn't subscribe to "labels", didn't limit myself, and all in all acted like I belonged (which was no "act" at all).
It's not a big deal. It's slightly more intense when you're getting to a point where next year you get to pay for school. But only slightly.
No matter if you're going to be 13 or 14 or 18... there are plenty of "steps" and changes in life. If you grow to fear them before they've happened, you're just cheating yourself. :)
