It has to be "Save Me". These lyrics seem so relevant and meaningful to me right now. Every sentence, every word is exactly how I am feeling. Brian May is a genius! It started off so well They said we made a perfect pair I clothed myself in your glory and your love How I loved you How I cried... The years of care and loyalty Were nothing but a sham it seems The years belie we lived a lie I love you till I die Save me save me save me I cant face this life alone Save me save me save me... Im naked and Im far from home The slate will soon be clean Ill erase the memories To start again with somebody new Was it all wasted All that love? ... I hang my head and I advertise A soul for sale or rent I have no heart Im cold inside I have no real intent Save me save me save me I cant face this life alone Save me save me save me... Im naked and Im far from home Each night I cry I still believe the lie I love you till I die Save me save me save me Dont let me face my life alone Save me save me ooh... Im naked and Im far from home |

Yeah I prefer ABBA for breakups actually. Though Save Me is quite good. "The Winner Takes It All" and "When All is Said and Done" are good I think. |

Jealousy, depending on the situation, I suppose Let Me Live Nevermore Love of My Life EDIT: I got another! The Great Pretender (I know- not EXACTLY a Queen song, but, hey, I'm listening to it!) |

If you're really torn up about it, "Who Wants to Live Forever" works well. If one or the other was cheating, I'd go with "Liar." If the break-up was due to a complete lack of sexual activity, "Tie Your Mother Down" is the way to go. If you still have no idea what the hell was going on for most of the relationship, "Bohemian Rhapsody" fits, because who really knows what the hell is going on in that song? Not exactly a Queen song, per se, but if you just found out that she's seventeen, "Jailhouse Rock" is what you'll be singing next. If you've recently discovered that you're gay, go with "Don't Stop me Now." If, for whatever reason, you killed her, play "Another One Bites the Dust" as you dispose of the remains. If she's decided that she loves you, but she isn't *in love* with you, try "Friends will be Friends" as you cry yourself to sleep. Pansy. If you're sobering up just in time to realize that she's not much of a looker, I'd just play "Ogre Battle" every time someone asks you what happened. |

"Who Needs You" has always been my Queen breakup song, although thankfully I have not broken up or been dumped for some time (married 9 years). |

"It's Late," and "Save Me" are good choices. I'd have to say "You Don't Fool Me" came up when I saw the forum topic. Maybe its strange...but that would work too. |

"Save Me" is my best favorite Brian's song as well. As for "break-up" Queen songs besides, Somebody To Love, Love Of My Life, It's Late are my favorites. |

Glad to see that by the 3rd damn page to this thread people are finally saying "ITS A HARD LIFE".....and I sure as hell can't believe nobody said "Love Of My Life"....I think people are fooled by the title to that song. The lyrics are all about somebody taking their love away from you..........Peace |

Hm... Maybe ''Was It All Worth It'', ''Going Back'', ''The Show Must Go On'' :], Oh no it's only my car left now... ''I'm In Love With My Car'' :P, If you were trying to break up with him/her, but didn't have the guts: ''A Kind Of Magic'', not a Queen song, but: ''Step On Me''. That's all I can think of right now. |
