I want to update my acoustic guitar. The current one i have was cheap.
I want one with a narrow neck so i can get my hands around with ease. Is neck width standard or can you get smaller sizes?
Anyone any advice on a good 6 string accoustic out there?

There are different neck sizes. Some guitars have thicker necks than other.
My advice is to go to a guitar shop and simply try different models and see what you like best.
Takamine and Ibanez have good quality guitars for a decent price.
I remember getting my Takamine back in 2003. It was a E330sc and it cost around £330. I just found this - link
No longer available, but I can tell you that if this acoustic is anything to go by, the more budget range of Takamine guitars are very persuasive!
I trekked through Glasgow looking at a few and I came back to the Takamine cause it was just right in sound and playability. Of course, this could differ for the next person, so the only good advice is to check them out yourself!
Adam.
Have to agree with Zaiga. The Ibenez line is extremely good for it's low price, and has a smaller neck width on some models.
Don't be fooled by Sigma by Martin. They are not Martins. Not even close.
They're not cheap, but Taylor necks are really very nice with the satin finish. I also have an Ovation Legend, which has a similar satin finish and slim neck. I'll echo a previous post, just go to a guitar store and start picking up guitars. If a guitar neck "fits you," you'll know it in the first 10 seconds. Good luck.
