The next DVD to be release will be Montreal 81. No doubt that Budapest 86 will be done too (Brian himself said he would really like to see it on DVD) but as i'm talking to you, there are no firm plans yet. |

No, no! Don't listen to them! There IS a DVD version of it online with extras. Just go to link It may not look convincing, but to enter, just hit Alt F4 on your keyboard (it's the access code) and then you will enter the site and you can order the DVD from there. |

In fact, I enjoy Body Language more than a lot of stuff done in the 70s. I enjoy the song better than the majority of songs on Queen II.innuendo1990 wrote: maybe 70s is the best periode but i like his voice in the 80s and the performances are better imho. but yeah hammersmith 75 or earls count 77 or hammy 79 are gr8 on dvd. greetzYou must be deaf, dumb and blind then. The difference between Queen II and Innuendo is the fact on Innuendo, the songs were catchy and rememberable. I have Queen II, and I've been a fan for like eleven years and I'm REALLY Queen obsessed... yet I probably couldn't name all of the tracks on Queen II unless the album was in front of me. I enjoy 1980s and 1990s Queen rock songs more than most in the 70s. I enjoy Hammer To Fall, Tear It Up, Put Out The Fire, Princes Of The Universe, Headlong, and The Hitman more than a lot of 70s songs such as It's Late, We Will Rock You, White Man, and Death On Two Legs. In fact, the last two I listed are songs I usually skip. But keep in mind, there's not much to Queen that I hate, and I love all their 70s albums, it's just I'm attracted to things that are catchy, and even though their 80s albums such as 'A Kind Of Magic' sold better than 'Queen II', I'm going to have to say I enjoy the A Kind Of Magic album much more... based on it's catchyness. I'm not going to go with the people who say "I'm not going to like that album because everyone likes it and it's so commercial and a trend"... because doing so is a trend itself. So fuck any of that. And I prefer Freddie in pants and a tee shirt than those fucking leotards. |

Yeh i think Queen were better in the 80's with concerts such as Wembley, At The Bowl and Budapest! |
Asterik 11.04.2007 15:55 |
I think Queen were different in the eighties, better in some ways than their seventies selves and worse in others. For example, I think their albums lost a little creativity and their live act became increasingly choreographed and hits based. On the other hand, as a live spectacle they were better in the 1980s and I feel Freddie's voice was better too- on the Magic tour he sounds almost operatic, albeit in a sligtly ragged way. I also feel thair aiblity to gage the market improved- Radio Ga Ga and I Want To break Free both managed to do the improbable by pleasing old fans with their anthemic hooks and attract new ones with a more contemparroy sound. Let's be honest here- as lightweight as some of Queen's eighties material was, in contrast with the Stones, Bowie, Elton John, Bob Dylan and any other great act of the sixties and seventies, it wasn't half bad! |

hey dont mean to be picky about the realeases but wasnt montreal 81 released as the we will rock you show. even though they were two separarate shows we in a way get the idea of what the show is gonna be like who thought of it this way i mean if release a show release something like a year earlier from the 80's game tour thats wat most queenfans really want to see out of the line of shows or anything above this show but if this is what is being waited for this long well i think its gonna be a disapointment for me atleast. |
Asterik 14.04.2007 16:42 |
They're going to have to not show shots of the back of Freddie's head at Budapest hah hah. For some reason he looked rather bald there, but not at Wembley. Vanity is everything at QP. |

Typing in caps is harder to read as the human brain picks up the shape of words without reading them completley and thus caps requires more brain timeto process and read. That and its shouting. It would be nice to see a Budapest release. I have a vcd of the laser disc version and the quality of the film whoops Wembleys ass. Shame about it being sped up tho. |

I downloaded this DVD about 1 year ago, and I'm pretty pleased with it. Of course, it's not perfect since it must be a copy from VHS, but it's got the menu and stuff. The one who made this DVD did definitely put some effort in it. |
