Queen Tokyo, Japan Nippon Budokan March 31, 1976 This is easily one of my favourites. The sound may not be as clear as on the Osaka recordings, but the performance is a lot more solid all around. Freddie, in particular, has rested his voice after the Osaka gigs, and delivers a much more solid performance. Seven Seas Of Rhye is a nice surprise on this tour, and also a rare encore of "See What A Fool I've Been" make this recording a must-have. This is the "Operatic Ecstasy" bootleg on the Wardour label, and they claim it's from a first generation tape. It's certainly an upgrade of the "Royal Opera Comes To Japan" bootleg. Lineage: Wardour silvers > CDR (0) > WAV > FLAC frontend (level 8) Disc 1: Bohemian Rhapsody (opera/rock) Ogre Battle Sweet Lady White Queen Flick Of The Wrist Bohemian Rhapsody (verses) Killer Queen The March Of The Black Queen Bohemian Rhapsody (reprise) Bring Back That Leroy Brown Brighton Rock Son And Daughter The Prophet's Song Stone Cold Crazy Doing Alright Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon Keep Yourself Alive Disc 2: Seven Seas Of Rhye Liar In The Lap Of The Gods.. Revisited Now I'm Here Big Spender! Jailhouse Rock See What A Fool I've Been God Save The Queen Here are the links to all 7 parts: link link link link link link link Distribute these files only if they are left completely unaltered. As always with my shares, be sure that this recording is not made available at Queenzone or elsewhere in mp3 or any other lossy format. Keep lossless files lossless. Enjoy! |

Thank you very much Bob! Eagerly waiting for the other parts.. :-) (Coverart for this on my website.) |
The Real Wizard 22.03.2007 18:57 |
See, there shouldn't be new cover art for this show. It's a Wardour release, so it should circulate only with the Wardour covers. |
The Real Wizard 22.03.2007 18:57 |
Sorry everyone, for not being able to upload more files... but Mediafire has been down all day. |
Dr3amSl33p 22.03.2007 19:02 |
fine.. do you have them in printable size also..? :) |
The Real Wizard 22.03.2007 23:36 |
I simply resize them to 455x455 and 570x447. I know that makes the resolution smaller, but I can't figure out a way to keep them big and printable. Any suggestions? |
Ale Solan 23.03.2007 00:04 |
Sir GH<br><h6>ah yeah</h6> wrote: I simply resize them to 455x455 and 570x447. I know that makes the resolution smaller, but I can't figure out a way to keep them big and printable. Any suggestions?Nope. The original files must be already scanned in a resolution, at least, 945x945 for example, or higher. If you resize a 400x400 image to 800x800 you'll have a big file but the pixels you already lost they cannot be recovered, you'll still have a pixelated image. It's like converting WAV to MP3 and back from MP3 to WAV. The original quality is already lost. ;-) |
The Real Wizard 23.03.2007 00:30 |
Okay... maybe I'm not asking the right question. What program should I be using to print out pictures in high resolution? |
Dr3amSl33p 23.03.2007 07:06 |
errr... nero coverdesigner for example..!? :D I don´t really see the problem here if you have them in a higher resolution before. Why do you resize them to a smaller resolution then? Or is it that they are pixeled..? If so, scan them at higher dpi. |
Ale Solan 23.03.2007 07:57 |
Sir GH<br><h6>ah yeah</h6> wrote: Okay... maybe I'm not asking the right question. Mediafire it's a complete s**t!..but better than "rapid" share anyway.. |

1st of all thanks very much for sharing. It seems to be some kind of problem with the 2nd file of mediafire. It can't be downloaded. |
The Real Wizard 24.03.2007 11:42 |
Mediafire is doing updates these days, so it'll be up and down for now. On my spare time, I'm trying to upload a file now and then. If Mediafire continues to be a problem for enough people, then once I have the 7 files up, I'll replace parts A and B. |
Miralf 24.03.2007 16:13 |
no problem sir GH, thx for all again ! |

hmkay.. so I think you misunderstood my first post regarding "printable" versions of the covers. I wasn´t talking about having problems to print them due to their size. You always can print them (with an appropriate program) in the right (real, "on paper") size to put them in your cd-case - no matter how big they are. What I was talking about is quality... :D They have to be at least twice as big (each rim, so 4 times in aspects of area) as they are now to print them in nice quality. This leads to the conclusion that these wardour-covers are fine for those who keep their files only on harddrive but relatively useless for those who burn it on cd and want a good-looking cover for it ;) Greets, Dr3amSl33p |

The front is 12 cm height and 12 cm width. At 300 pixels resolution thats something like 1400x1400 pixels size. Thanx SirGH for this great sharing. I decided to "remaster" the Wardour cover to a 300 resolution printable version. Beacause of this i had to expand de images and so the text got worst. I erased all the texts and replaced it with new ones trying to keep the same text style. I've added some shadow to the track listing text so you can clearly see the words (it looked a little bit blury with the background color). There also was an error with the edges of the back: both texts "queen---title---label" were facing the same direction, and thats wrong. They should be facing different directions. I corrected that. The front cover doesnt look very nice, but it's ok (i guess). Hope you like it. link Quality of the front: good- Quality of the back: very good |

I have, with rarzilla the process bar reaches about 1/3 and then closes itself, and with unrar for windows it complains about a CRC error or something. I have the other 6 parts as .zips, i dont know if that would be a problem for the 7th being a rar? Thanks for the help :) |

I think you need all rar parts to unpack the files. It's one big archive splitted in 7 parts. |
tjleone 12.12.2008 01:07 |
I used UnRar to open just the 7th RAR file and it did work. The only problem was the songs were from Disc 1 (d1 - 04.flac d1 - 05.flac d1 - 06.flac d1 - 07.flac d1 - 08.flac)not disc 2. I have all the zip files downloaded accept for the last file. I guess the RAR files are out of order somewhat and I'll have to download them all. |
