Stumbled across a website link which has discographies of all the US record labels. It was interesting looking at Elektra Records and seeing the other albums they were releasing and promoting at the same time as Queen.
Here's the site for Elektra link
It includes a history of the label. Didn't realize that Jac Holzman, the head of the label, retired not long after signing Queen.
At the bottom of the Elektra Story are links to the Elektra discographies. I'd forgotten that Jazz was released twice (with two different catalog numbers), first with the poster and then with a postcard to get the poster. Only in America, I guess.
It's interesting to note that Queen II was the last of the EKS-75000 series, and A Day at the Races was the first of the 6E-100 series.
Just looked at this site again and noticed that "Liar" was included on EK-PROMO-21 - Elektra Asylum September Releases - Various Artists [8/73] (2 LPs)
and "Seven Seas of Rhye" was included on EK-PROMO-23 - Elektra Asylum Summer Sampler - Various Artists [7/74] link
(Just pointing this out for the completists!)
