Hello all
I remember years ago having a song on cassette by Robby Valentine that was all about Queen. Very literal lyrics etc. One of the lines in the Chorus went..."Roger and John - BRIAN MAY".
Catchy tune and I'm trying to track it down now as my cassettes have long since vanished.
Ring any bells with anyone?!

The song isn't all about Queen or have the Chorus featuring the line "Roger and John - BRIAN MAY"
The song I'm talking about was all about Queen - he sings about how great they were and uses Queen song titles in his song.
Any other takers?

The story behind Valentine's Overture (part one):
The song was written in 1991 after Freddie Mercury, the singer of Queen, died of an aids-related disease. Robby Valentine is a huge fan of Queen and Freddie Mercury. After Freddie died, Robby put his thoughts and feelings about Freddie and Queen on paper. The result is an 11 minute long mini rock-opera showing all kinds of styles and also how much talent Robby has!

Both "overture's" were released as a b-side on the the Dutch 2*CD "Megaman" single.

Thats it - I kept thinking it was called something like Medley but overture is the one!
