All I'm going to say is that it's pretty silly to change your favourite band because of "the rotten fans". Every band has a variety of fans. Some people are generally unfriendly, regardless of what band they like. I mean, I can certainly see changing favourites as your tastes change - but you're lowing your opinion of Queen's music because of some people who don't know the band and are certainly not representative of ALL Queen fans ? You're doing a disservice to the band by allowing people who are not them, and having nothing to do with their music change your opinion of Queen's work. |

Incidentally, I used to be a Boston fan, but I couldn't understand their fans. It's that accent - "park the car WHERE?!??". So, I switched over to Queen. I find anyone with a British accent automatically charming. |

just for the record, i love all of you beautiful queen fans and i only wish we could stop all the petty fights and enjoy each others internet company. i will be honest and say that i am a very frustrated queen fan i.e, (i want a 70's live dvd release and i want the box sets). so my way of taking out my aggression is by being overly sarcastic on the message boards. i mean no harm. i just wish queen(brian may, roger taylor, john deacon)and hollywood records would do the fans some justice by releasing something that all the diehard fans will love. thank you; i hope i come off as sincere. |
