If you can't find Mercury and me I have a no brainer solution for you... THE PUBLIC LIBRARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to day to print out a job application (cause my printr is crap and current job sucks but thats neither here or there) and while wating to use the computer asked if they had Mercury and Me on a whim. Idont think I expected the answer I got caus the librarian told me they had it, butin spanish. She asked me if it was by a Jim Hutton, I aid yeah and she repeated that it was strange but they only had it in spanish. She then asked me what it was about and in my usual long winded replies said "the guy from Queen, Freddie Mercury". She was like what ashis nme Jim ercury or something and I said Freddie again (had to typ that because I though it was funny) amn she sai it sounded interesting and she wanted to read it and would put an orde in (I know its out of pint lol) anyway sh said it was at anotyher library. The one on 75 and Oak Lawn for those of you in Dallas (plu if you know a lot about Dallas you know that ironically thats pretty much gay central moe ironiclly i th libray I was at that had the spanish copy was in South Oak Cliff, the Highland Hills library. Just thought I'd share.
I couldn't find Jim's book at the library and had to order a cheap used paperback thru Ebay. But Phoebe's book was easily available even at a little library branch in Wichita, Kansas ;)
