Just a thought...has anyone noticed how popular this song is today (and with good reason it's a great song), I mean it was covered for Sports Relief, it's been used in adverts and I generally find that with kids my age that that is the Queen song they love and enjoy and dance to, more so than WWRY or WATC even.
I just find it strange as when the song was actually RELEASED in '79 it only got to No.9 in the charts or something. What do you reckon prompted the sudden soar in popularity over this song?
Yes but the point is still the same. Take another example then: if quality and success were proportional, then 'Queen II' would have largely outsold 'Greatest Hits' and 'A Kind Of Magic', which it didn't.

Absolutely...and the Sheer Heart Attack album would have outsold all others.
