Well, WATC definitely exists. Hammer To Fall and Friends Will Be Friends would make sense, as an audience was featured. But "I Want It All" didn't even have an audience! Either you are mistaking the song or you're a bit loser trying to spread a stupid rumour. |

End of discussion! Last Queen performance : Knebworth 1986. Take care |

ok i think ur stuck in a time warp around 1990 and freddies death. |

Oh, I see....he doesn't know the difference between We Are The Champions (long haired Freddie in a leotard) and I Want It All (short haired beardie Freddie). How dumb can one person be? And that's before we talk about the fact that they SOUND diferent. Bradley, hearty "greetz" to you, but after this I won't believe anything that you say. |

This is slightly related - years ago i remeber gazing at the back cover of geatest flix 2 i think it was, and there was a picture of Queen performing on the Miracle video shoot minus the kids. They could have been just practicing their part of the video, or maybe they were giving a rendition of the song. Does anyone else have any thoughts about this? Could someone upload the pic if possible? Thanks. |

Thanks. There's complete video (though not complete song if I remember correctly) of them performing that track without kids, not like finished promo video of course. As well as complete video of kids performing the song without Queen members (filmed by one camera). There's probably also Las Palabras De Amor (TOTP) with audience (at least there was photo posted about one year ago which proves it). |

Now that would be exactly the kind of thing i'd have loved to have seen in Hits2 DVD. Instead of interviews with the children or whatever they included, this kind of footage would have been great. I guess Queen mimed thier part? If only they played a live version of the song for fun and it was filmed, that for ne would be the Holy Grail. |
Going Back 11.02.2007 08:41 |
oh yeah, any live song from miracle or innuendo album would be miracle. i love the short studio takes from miracle sessions of songs ( i want it all, the miracle, scandal...) because freddie does it live, hope that some more live takes as these come out some day. :) |
Serry... 11.02.2007 08:48 |
That's just my imagination perhaps, but on the making of TATDOOL footages from VH1 documentary you can hear Freddie's singing the song. Or maybe it's just the echo effect... |

Or maybe it's just the echo effect...yeah, when i heard that short clip (with colours) from right down camera or something like that if i remember then freddie sang a bit stronger than the backing song was. |

Serry... wrote: That's just my imagination perhaps, but on the making of TATDOOL footages from VH1 documentary you can hear Freddie's singing the song. Or maybe it's just the echo effect...He's singing it. When people sing on a music video, it's not actually miming. They actually sing to get it right. That's why Freddie's spit appears (I Want It All, I Was Born To Love You) |
Paulos 11.02.2007 08:56 |
I really dont know anything about how videos are filmed and put together, but do singers/bands actually sing along to tracks and how much is purely mimed? It just crossed my mind that if Freddie sang during these videos, roger obviosuly played the drums all it would take is for Brian and John to get a feed through to their amps and Queen would be live - of sorts. Think im clutching at straws here but it would be great to have seen Queen performing after 86. Any ideas of the video making process? |

"He's singing it. When people sing on a music video, it's not actually miming. They actually sing to get it right. And the-only-kids-version is available via some traders/sellers even, it's not that ultra rare. |

Serry... wrote: "He's singing it. When people sing on a music video, it's not actually miming. They actually sing to get it right. That's why Freddie's spit appears (I Want It All, I Was Born To Love You)"The only problem here is the fact that there´s a tape running as a clue for the artist, and then there´s the "CUT-lets do just the secong half...", etc. So, even if he sings i don´t think that Brian and John are plugged. Take care |
