Name your top 5 favourite vocalists here, OTHER than Freddie Mercury(even if he's not your favourite). Please remember that. :P Here goes! 1. George Michael - The thought of Freddie's replacement makes me very angry. But if it happened(thank the pantheon of dead rock gods it didn't happen), I'd much prefer George Michael to take his place than anyone else. George Michael is one of the best singers of all time. Listen to "Last Christmas", he sounds a bit like Freddie there. 2. Robert Plant 3. Rob Halford 4. Syd Barrett 5. David Bowie/Bob Dylan(Hey...it's just me :P) |

With all respect, Bob Dylan the best vocalist? XD XD He's without a doubt one of my favourite solo artists (my favourite after Bowie) but the best vocalist? well... your choice I suppose. 01. Ronnie James Dio (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, DIO) 02. Falco 03. Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company) 04. David Bowie 05. Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) |
Saif 09.02.2007 11:25 |
Dylan's voice on Nashville Skyline is awesome, as well as in the songs "Hurricane" and "Like a Rolling Stone"(studio version only). Don't forget "Subterranean Homesick Blues" - the first rap song. :P |

Guthrie did it in th '30s, and it was old even back then. B) His voice on Nashville Skyline is caused by the LP being slightly too fast (play it at 31 instead of 33 rpm on vinyl, and it'll sound like normal Dylan again) |

Yeah Sting is good. Jon Bon Jovi is great too. Elvis? I hate him. Elton John used to be good but Zebonka kinda was right when he said that he and Axl Rose botched Bohemian Rhapsody. Also, after he lost his ability to sing in falsetto, his vocal quality diminished a lot...He really sucked at the 2001 Grammys where he performed Dido's parts in "Stan" with Eminem... |
