Paul Rodgers any day of the week he's such a good singer and doesn't try to be like Freddie at all in Robbie i can see him trying to be like Freddie to much IMHO
I think Robbie havn't taken because there was a fear that its popularity can eclipse Queen, and set-list would be percent on 40 of Robbie's songs. And that up to concerts in England still it would be not known on what people reacted more, to the Rhapsody or Angels
This has been the topic of conversation for several threads and personally, I am sick of seeing it. In agreement with the post above me, history HAS, indeed, already picked Paul Rodgers for us. Brian May and Roger Taylor, as you all know, are the remaining active members of Queen. They selected Paul Rodgers to tour with them as lead singer in 2005 and 2006 - and as we speak, they are recording an album. Robbie Williams, on the other hand, was not selected. Nor will he ever be. Paul Rodgers is currently fronting Queen, as Freddie Mercury is as dead today as he was yesterday and the day before.
I think I speak for most of Queenzone when I say that I am sick of seeing these idiotic, hypothetical threads created mainly to stir up the "fans" and to get another online "Queen 1991 RIP" tirade. Just as a side note, this thread should have been put in PERSONAL, as Robbie Williams has nothing to do with the topic you selected, which is Queen + Paul Rodgers Tour.
i prefer paul rodgers of course
IMHO, he's better vocalist than robbie williams
i like robbie, but not to be on stage with queen
on the beginning, i said "damm, why didnt they pick up robbie? he's such a good singer"
obviously, at that moment, i didnt know paul rodgers...
now i can say that, despite he's very different than freddie, paul rodgers is an excelent singer and an terrific showman...
i like it
and i dont regret Bri and Rog toured with this guy
paul rodgers every time, he isnt tryin to be freddie, yano, so its paul, an it would be like seeing a bad queen tribute band with roger an brian innit, as well, i think vocaly paul can sing the socks off that freddie wanna be, dont get me wrong i havnt got anythin against robbie, but him fronting queen, no.... paul is the only man on earth that can do it
Paul Rodgers has a much better voice than Robbie Williams. He's truly a musician. Robbie is a commercially succesful entertainer.I don't have no problem with that but I would have had a problem with robbie and Queen. He can't nail the songs, Paul can!
Imagine Britney singing Fat bottomed girls taking her pants off and showing her ass or singing get down make love and making a blow job to the band members, that would really be a MUST to see.

Robbie Williams is a tree-fucker. He thinks he's Jim Morrison. Damn, Even James Blunt is better than that loser...
Paul Rodgers is awesome, really awesome.
But seriously for those who like Robbie, look-
It's like two things you like, chocolate and onions...but maybe they won't taste so good together. You see what I mean?
I have heard it said that we are not seeing the real Queen on stage.
I have heard that "Paul" is a secret agent hiding a nuclear warhead in his microphone stand (now I know why he gets so excited on stage), "Brian" is actually bald and is wearing a wig (and probably has sinister intentions too) and "Roger" is a Soviet spy.
And "Spike" is a nefarious shapeshifter from another dimension.
And Jamie and Danny are closet members of the A-Team.
In all seriousness, the new Queen is fantastic and Paul is the best vocallist possible for them.
Paul Rodgers or Robbie Williams?
At least I'm sure that Robin Williams would be better than Robbie Williams.
Of course, Raul Podgers is the greatest. Raul Podgers is a great man.
I think Robbie Williams would have been a complete disaster. His voice doesn't suite Queen, nor does it re-invent it like Paul's. Thank goodness it wasn't Robbie Williams.
Furthermore, I like that they chose a singer from their generation.

I completely agree; and would like to add that Robbie Williams looks to me like a very bad singer, and Paul Rodgers like a very good one.
