First off,I have a photoshop premier, but i'm still learning how to use it,this is a kind of request for anyone who knows to use it.
If Johnny Depp is gonna play Freddie in the upcoming movie,(and can't wait to see it.)I think it'd be neat to see a possible image of what he might look like as Fred.
It'd be neat to have an image like that in the art gallery and give us a possible look/teaser of what to expect.
But if it comes to it,i'll try to do it myself, but i'm learning how to use it still.
Either way,it's gonna be a longshot, seeing John as Freddie, but i'm sure it'll be great to see in the movie,John's played some unique characters.
Yeah,I went off to a couple of film sites to see what you meant and after seeing Depp with a slightly familair moustache,I can see what you mean.
Now,if he would just wear a yellow jacket, microphone with stand handle, white pants,etc...and viola'--Mr.Mercury! Thanks for the recommendation,i'll be sure to watch for that film.
i think that no matter what happens they can make johnny depp look like anyone.
i mean it doesnt even look like the same peson when you compare edward sissorhands to captain jack sparrow.
and freddie and depp do have a simiar facial structure.
People don't seem to think hiring Depp to PRETEND to be Freddie Mercury is weird.
In fact, they are looking forward to a movie with a fake Freddie Mercury.
But people think Freddie Imitations to be weird who can actually sing and sound a lot like Freddie.
What a weird and crazy world we live in!

A Freddie imitator would be weird when sharing a stage with Roger and Brian.
A (good) Freddie imitator on his own stage is entertaining, amusing and just plain fun.
An actor 'pretending' to be Freddie in a movie about his life is logical since
a. Freddie is dead
b. that's what actors do
and
c. depending on the actor, people will go to see the movie even if they're unfamiliar with Freddie and Queen, whereas mainly (only?) Queen fans will go to see a Queen cover band or Queen+ concert.
Nothing wrong with mega-star Johnny playing mega-star Freddie. The more attention it brings to him and the band, the better.
Sorry but I see no difference between a Queen tribute band with a Freddie imitator, and an actor pretending to be Freddie Mercury.
There is no difference.
But people seem to accept the latter, but laugh/mock the former.
My original point is, we've been brainwashed into accepting "actors" as a legitimate profession just because it's entertaining.
But if you really think about it, these grown adults are pretending to be something they are not. Tom Cruise pretending to be a jet pilot.
Actors are just as ludicrous as tribute band singers. It's just that we are conditioned to accept acting whereas we still find tribute bands to be weird.
