This is the perfect freddie clone

This guy beats gary mullen hands down, if you look away from the screen when u play it , you almost think its freddie! He even got the 70's freddie voice when he sings "39" link |
| dogwithabone 21.01.2007 11:21 |
Agreed. A lot better than Gary Mullen. His 'daydoh' is even more uncannily like Freddie it's unbelievable. |
| MarkieKnopflie 21.01.2007 11:43 |
Sounds really like Freddie, although our Freddie is much more handsome!! :) |
| Mercuryking 21.01.2007 11:50 |
hah true, but i can say he's got a 90% of freddies voice. He got the power too , hear the DAYOH's and he got the soft side too.. |
| john bodega 21.01.2007 11:52 |
Apart from the odd pronounciation problem, the guy is pretty amazing. I think he has a voice that's closer to the 70's sound. Gary Mullen is more towards the stadium side of things, I think - and has a better range. I'd like to get those two in a room together for a Freddie-Off, actually! |

But this new guys DAYOOHH is completly freddie 100% Not to mention everything else , i mean he sings I want to break free and Bohemian almost exactly as freddie. |
| Mercuryking 21.01.2007 12:03 |
And the thing with this new guy is , he doesnt look like a complete fool when he is pretending to be freddie... i donno why but when i see gary mullen and everyother freddie clone , they look funny. This guy seems more natural in his pretending haha |

Freddie didn't really have much hair, but that guy has less and a double chin |

"I compared gary mullen and this new guy, gary mullen's DAYOHH when he sings the high note, wasnt a bit like freddies." Yeah it was. They both are. Get used to it - they have good points, and bad points, but neither of them are 100% perfect. If they were, you certainly wouldn't be the one to know much about it :P |

I thought the Gary Mullen guy sounded more like him. |

It's a matter of opnion and you shouldn't be such an asshole about the fact that I actually have an opinion. I wasn't saying he sounded exactly like Freddie, but he does have a few aspects of Freddie's voice. The only way to you could sound more like freddie is to actually be freddie himself. |

the first thing i noticed about this guy was just how freaking huge his forhead is. his voice is great, and he has alot of the actions down and such, but man what a dome. |
| SomebodyWhoLoves 22.01.2007 14:42 |
It's a little eery how much he sounds like Freddie Mercury! He's 99% similiar! Weird, huh? |
| SomebodyWhoLoves 22.01.2007 14:53 |
Normally, impersonators make me LOL. This Freddie still makes me chuckle because he's got a HUGE forehead LOL and he's bald, but if I don't look at the video, and just listen, he sounds so much like Freddie it's unbelievable!! |
| SomebodyWhoLoves 22.01.2007 15:10 |
I wonder what Brian May would think of this guy's voice? |

SomebodyWhoLoves wrote: I wonder what Brian May would think of this guy's voice?I'm gonna make a bold asshle-esque staement and say based on comments like this you people arent enjoying music at high level if that guy is 99% Freddie. His voice is a lot diferent than Freddie's. You people are obviously missing ome frequencies in your hearing. |

On Youtube you can find some videos of the "cover band". I think this Band is "cheating". if you watch one of those videos you can/could see that he sing Playback. If you hear to it you can hear what they probably do: They take the Original Freddie Voice and MIx it. The Pitch a bit higher, the track a bit slower. They cut the song and make longer gaps in it. It will sound like Freddies voice. Sorry i didnt think, that they are so good |

I have great ears, and I don't think I am mistaken. This singer is the closest to Freddie Mercury that I've heard from any vocalist besides Freddie Mercury! His consistency is amazing. Unlike some imitators who only sound like Freddie here or there, this guy is consistently similar. Even his speaking voice at the end of the show, is eerily like Freddie's. I'd like to hear more of his singing to be sure though. I've only heard samples of songs. |

"They take the Original Freddie Voice and MIx it. The Pitch a bit higher, the track a bit slower. They cut the song and make longer gaps in it. It will sound like Freddies voice." You aren't wearing earplugs by any chance? Magic earplugs, that make you think the pitch is higher when in fact the guy has dropped most of the songs a whole step? The guy is a most talented imitator, but this is clearly not the voice of Freddie Mercury. |
