I think Zebonka must become the leader of the looking-for-FIA people. As veteran of that bussiness - he has all rights to be primus inter pares. |

Besides, now that I've vowed to upload the song to Rapidshare as soon as I get it, no serious collector would send it to me. He who laughs last... doesn't get the joke :P V. |

so zebonka, i take it you know it all when it comes to a band like queen. come to think of it, you probably know everything there is to know about everything. but answer me this socrates. explain to me how you became a queen fan by the age of 4. did you really decide at that point in time( 4 years old) that you were a die hard queen fan? zing! booya!!! |

I fell for Queen's music at around that time because one of the first CDs my parents got was Greatest Hits. I was immediately intrigued by the layered sound - oddly enough I associated it with ELO, who I'd heard a short time before Queen. The Beatles also figured into this mental association of overdubbed vocals. Like anyone with ears, I found Bohemian Rhapsody intensely fun to sing along to in a moving vehicle - this was, of course, before Wayne's World made it part of the public domain in the form of celluloid. Considering the immense part music played (and continues to play) in my short but colourful life - I'm not sure what the point of your question is? It didn't take me long to figure out I liked Queen. In fact, it never takes me long to figure out what I like or don't like. Case in point - 5 minutes after reading your diatribe (ooh, 'socrates' is an insult these days?) I'm convinced you aren't worth talking to anymore. Who needs Voltaire when we have punks like you patrolling the forums? :) |

so at the age of 4 you knew exactly what the term "layered sound" was? did you also go to your local record shop and by your first queen album when you were 4, or did you just listen to your parents records? hell, i guess i should say i've been a beatles fan since 1983 since thats what i remember listen too when i was young. why can't you just be honest with yourself and say that you've really just become a queen fan over the last few years? it's not a big deal, just be honest. peace. and the point of my question to you is, is where do you get off being a prick to other people's questions? hey, if it's not a question your interested in then don't reply. ignore it and move on. what's the point of you trashing someones question? if you had something humours to add i wouldn't mind that much, but you have no right to come in here and spoil a percectly decent question. just ask yourself this. is it worth it to pick on people via internet typing? |

"so at the age of 4 you knew exactly what the term "layered sound" was?" Some of us have a desire to 'learn' new things occasionally. So what if I watched the odd making-of an album when I was little.. I found these things fascinating. I was the same way with reading ; I wanted to know what this 'writing' crap was so I forcibly learned how to do it before school started. Besides, layered sound is a pretty descriptive term. Sound, that is layered. I used to do it with a pair of tape decks. It was fun for me, okay? "did you also go to your local record shop and by your first queen album when you were 4, or did you just listen to your parents records?" I believe I answered that already when I said Greatest Hits was amongst my parents first CDs. Damn, a 4 year old didn't go out and buy his own music... "hell, i guess i should say i've been a beatles fan since 1983 since thats what i remember listen too when i was young." No, look... not everyone has as long spanning a memory as the other guy. I can remember back a fair way into my childhood, Queen was a big part of it. Okay? "why can't you just be honest with yourself and say that you've really just become a queen fan over the last few years?" Because that would be a lie. " i can honestly say that Zeb has been on QZ for more than a few years alone, so i highly doubt he has only been a fan for a few years." I've been a huge fan of Queen since I was 4, true enough. I only joined this site so I could see the Story of Bohemian Rhapsody. :) |
