I searched the forums to see if there was a discussion on this DVD and couldn't find one. I was thinking about buying this and was wondering if anyone who has seen it thinks it's worth the $20 or if it's just previously shown material just in a repackaged form. Also, are the interviews mainly from the band or other people? Thanks in advance for your help, guys.

The interviews are from Queen...but it's in SUCH a bad quality...like the people actually recorded from the T.V screen. They're previously shown interviews...maybe for a DIE-HARD fan...I bought it though...and it was a waste of money X_X
I purchased this DVD right when it came out and was expecting something professional and informative. To tell you the truth I was dissapointed. When I first saw the actual disc I was not impressed. On the disc you'll see somebody who is supposedly Freddie Mercury, well it's not. It's some actor or something. He looks like he might be part of a tribute band and who ever put this package together thought it was actually Freddie-big mistake.
So as you can tell, just from looking at the damn disc it's a mistake and a half. Now, as for the contents of the DVD you'll find interviews with the band (not interviews of other individuals talking of the band). Now, the interviews are in terrible condition, not only that but you can find a good portion of those interviews on youtube. However, it is relevant to add that this is in fact the first time these interviews have been put onto a DVD.
Ok, so we've got the negatives out of the way. Now, if you are really into collecting anything Queen related then by all means go and get it. Otherwise, forget it. Stick to youtube.
I have to say that I do find it valuable, only because I know that "I" have it and that it is now a part of my Queen collection (which I take great pride in). I hope I helped!
Cheers.

Uh, that is Freddie actually. There's nothing faked about the disc.. it's just a collection of TV interviews and news reports in bad quality from peoples' home VHS recordings.
It's worth the money if you enjoy interviews and want to get a bunch of this stuff into your own archives. There is one bit towards the end which does appear recorded from a TV screen but most of them are quite watchable.
All of this stuff could easily be shared here.. the low-budget folks who made the disc have no more rights to the footage than anyone here. I wouldn't share it complete however.. their actual disc is their own production which in the strange world of copyright law, would probably be copyrighted to them.

Are you sure we're talking about the same picture of Freddie? If you're talking about the front cover of the product itself then yes that is Freddie Mercury, but if you're actually talking about the picture of Freddie on the "disc" then I wouldn't agree. But hey, I could be wrong! If you could reply and tell me a little more about this picture of Freddie Mercury (and possibly post a link to the original photo) that would be great.
