The lightbulb in my room wasn't working, so I got onto the desk, took off the old lightbulb, got a new one to replace the old one, wrapped the old one and put it in the trash can. What brands of lightbulbs do you recommend? Is using the desk safe, or should I use a ladder next time? |
Eviltwin 18.01.2007 12:35 |
Now do the same with your underwear. And don't forget to stand on the chair. |
Woodie 18.01.2007 12:37 |
Yes, that happened to me also once. But i got up on a chair, had my sister to get me the new bulb, replaced the old one and then put that in the trash can. |

I'm incapable of changing light bulbs, so I congratulate you on your light bulb changing expertise. |

Perhaps some expert on Queenzone could post a better technique. I basically rotate the lightbulb counterclock wise (in some places it could be clockwise, I dunno, here at home it's always counterclock) until it comes out. Then I put the new one and rotate it clock wise until it looks safe. Then you can light it to see if it works. |

Well, according to MS word, you're WRONG. (Unless of course there's a difference in the UK spelling.) |

Anyways... How many Rafs would it take to change a lightbulb? 101 One to do the job, 99 to share in the experience and one more to boast about it on QZ |

Well. I know where to come next time I need to change a lightbulb. Oh! I have this lightbulb cover (yuo know, glass and all?) and it's too high for me to change. My roof slopes. Any ideas? |

I had one bulb out in my overhead kitchen fixture for, well, months. Two weeks ago, the other one died, so I have been stumbling around in the dark when I cook. I just bought two American light bulbs last week, and you have inspired me to change them, except I get very nervous and unsteady while standing on the stepstool (or is it step stool?) I have never had both bulbs out at the same time. Which one should I change first? This one or that one? No one has mentioned the dead bugs that accumulate in the globe over time. They are quite yummy when you put them in oatmeal. They taste like raisins. |

I'm inclined to remove the lightbulbs in my home, it's too much like inviting the Sun around for tea. |

now, is this an incandescent lightbulb you're changing, or a fluorescent lightbulb? it's such a waste if you throw the bulbs away. you should use the long fluorescent bulb for a light saber, and the incandescent bulb for... well, when you have a stupid/crazy/brilliant idea and had a lightbulb moment. just put it on top of your head. |
