Hello my fellow Queen fans! I'm Saif from Calcutta, India. I'm 19 and I've been a Queen fan for 7 years. My first exposure to Queen was at the age of five when the Freddie Mercury tribute concert was televised(on either BBC World or MTV). Other than Queen, my favourite artists are Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Simon & Garfunkel and David Bowie. Besides them, I like ABBA, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, The Beatles, Kansas, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, The Eagles, Def Leppard, Roxette, Westlife, Take That, Oasis, Green Day, The Killers, Razorlight, Franz Ferdinand, John Mayer, The Rolling Stones, U2, John Denver, Garth Brooks, Bryan Adams, Genesis, Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, WHAM!, George Michael, Phil Collins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sex Pistols, Rush, The Who, REO Speedwagon, The Police, Don McLean, Billy Joel, Elton John, Olivia Newton-John, Madonna, Bing Crosby(but not Frank Sinatra), Harry Belafonte, Michael Jackson, Van Halen, Frank Zappa, Guns N' Roses, blink-182, The Doors, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Carpenters, Deep Purple, "Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young", Bill Haley, Beach Boys, The Bee Gees, Sting and Harry Nilsson. Phew! That was long. :) I'm sure I've still forgot to mention a few others but this should give everyone a good idea about my tastes. My favourite genre is Folk-Rock. I'm a medical college student and unemployed. :P Hope to have fun here and immerse myself into engaging Queen discussions.
