All the brazilian ISPs were forced by the Justice to block YouTube.
All because a brazilian model called Daniella Cicarelli put her hand inside her boyfriend's underwear in a beach in Spain and the video was on YouTube.
But a couple of years ago, a brazilian celebrity was seen topless and the pics were published in a magazine, but she couldn't sue the magazine because the pics were taken in a public place.
Therefore, the Justice can NOT shut down a website for publishing Cicarella's video, as it was filmed in a very crowded beach in Spain.
Once again the brazilian authorities IGNORED the Constituion. It's been like that since Lula arrived.
And if that slut didn't want to be seen wanking her boyfriend... WHY DID SHE DO IT IN A BEACH?
Brazil is far from being a civilized country... And everyday we go further away from civilization. Soon they'll be blocking websites that publish our government's monthly scandals. Next, we'll leave our cities and go live in the jungle.
not sure if it works, but try an anonymous proxy. It hides your ip and maybe that is enough to get you through it
and else, buy a magazine with dirty pictures, that might keep you busy a bit as well and strength one of your hands ... :)))))
:P

Sat
That is seriously messed up! I can imagine Youtube being blocked in Utah, but Brazil?? How are they going to make tribute videos about Ronaldo now??
I guess I learn something new every day.
It's back! At least in some ISPs.
Two of the biggest phone companies, Telefonica and Brasil Telecom decided to unban it, because the so called Justice FINALLY suspended the ban! :-D
Cicarelli works for MTV Brazil, and MTV got over TWENTY THOUSAND protest e-mails, a petition was started and got over 7 thousand signatures in a few hours, a website was created stimulating people to boycott her and several people phoned their cable TV providers and asked them to CANCEL MTV Brazil.
HAH! Take that, slut!! :-D
I think graphic simulated violence and handjobs should be handled with the same approach as far as Censorship goes...
If you're going to let your kid watch Die Hard, you might as well let them watch a movie with sex in it as well. Or don't let them watch either.... in any case, this kind of double standard over what is 'acceptable' really is fucking stupid.
The taboo over the human body (like when old people freak out over breastfeeding on trains) is simply a chronic retardation of social development.
