This photo was taken at the Dominion Theatre in London on stage with Cliff Richard for the musical TIME. It was not his last live appearance. |

i was there, in Barcelona, on Ibiza, and in the Dominion. The "give time for aids" gala was Freddies last ever live performance, as singing is concerned. It was a great show, but the grand finale with : "It's in everyone of us" with Freddie really outsinging Cliff, has now a kind of bizarre sound to it, if you think it was an aids-gala, and him having hiv ( what we didn't know at that time, but he did....and singing that IT is in everyone of us.... i have the recordings from both audience, and soundboard of that show, and i think these should have been on the solo collection box. I think they are really important as they mark the end of Freddies live-era......sad enough....the management should really get together with Dave Clark, Brian, John and Roger, and find a way to make the film and all that was recorded available to us, the fans...But Dave Clark seems to be not very cooperative these days...he's not giving away one thing from this Time musical....and he has it all....guess he's not getting paid enough for it? |

i only have the finale song in soundboardquality, and it is truly lovely, and dramatic as it was the last song Freddie ever sang live in front of an audience. But, this song being there in this quality, means that the whole show is there in the same quality. I was in London the last 3 days, together with a select group of "inside crowd" from the London theatre scene, and i talked about bringing the time musical back on stage, but nobody really likes this musical, and that's why it never happended.....i woulkd love to see it on stage again, as i think it is a beautiful theme, and very uptodate as the eternal ice is melting down so fast....we lost 25% of all, in the last 2 years only! ( see al gore's film!) So...if any of you can start a special voting system here, to gather votes to get it bac on stage again...why not? :-) |

Dave Clark also holds the rights to all the surviving footage of the BUs "Ready! Steady! Go!" programme from the early-mid 1960s. The man is a complete wanker in the time-honoured tradition of an artist that never really made much of an impact despite his own publicity machine. |
