iv heard a rumour up here in north east england, from some mates who can get tickets to almost anyshow through "contacts", and they asked me if i wanted tickets to see Queen at the arena later this year,
Queen arent touring though are they? i thought he must of been on about "one night of queen" but he said no it is the same queen that toured in 2005 with paul rodgers, someone carify this? doesnt sound right to me!
Do you mean the Newcastle Metro Arena?
For what's it's worth I just checked their site and it shows no upcoming show for Queen or Gary Mullen's band.
Think someone's pulling your leg.
Not to say it won't happen though. I loved the gig up there last time around. I remember getting text messages all through the gig to say we'd just knocked Chelsea out the Champions League too - bonus :-)
i know i checked ticketmaster, the arena website all over the internet, not a thing, thats why it didn seem right...
still a part of me hopes its true! lol
The boys DID say they intend to tour this year.
And I don't know if you remember, but may I then remind you that more then half of the European shows were already sold out even before the band CONFIRMED that they would be performing in the first place!
You never know. But depending on the reliability of your source, who knows!

True. Remember the fiasco with the priorty tickets for fan club members. Ticketmaster went in to meltdown! :-). I hope they've improved their system since then. I also remember paying £55 a ticket and going with a mate to Birmingham where he got a ticket from a tout for £10 the swine.

Oh yes, I remember the LOTTERY very well indeed!!
A fiasco on all accounts.
To themselves aswell as on the day of the show there were still tickets on sale at the boxoffice - in the end this show didn't even sell out!
Anyway; let's chose to forget this ;-)
in estonia we had last year Metallica and this year they told (people who invite stars to estonia) that there are coming atleast same level star band to estonia late summer (it is not U2) and i am quite sure it might be Queen+Paul Rodgers.

If they come to Estonia they'll surely come to Romania also :)
Let's hope they don't forget Eastern Europe on this tour (and I don't mean Hungary ONLY)
