Well, the days are flying by quickly and we are already near to the end of 2006... So, I'm guessing some of you here have some promises to make and TRY to keep? =P What's your New Year's Resolution for 2007? How long do you think it'll be till you maybe, lets say, break it....? :P ALSO, try and remember the Resolutions you made for 2006... What were they? |
Mr.Jingles 28.12.2006 22:02 |
My new years resolution is to actually accomplish my resolutions. |

More vegetables and less fruit. Not any resolutions, really. I'm going to work on fine tuning my intuition. |
Deacon Fan 29.12.2006 03:31 |
My new year's resolution is the same as the past 2 years or so. 1280 x 1024. |

I'd personally not like to die... but I'd like to fall asleep and dream... and dream forever. Dreams are wonderful. I like living inside my dreams at night.. it's my other life. |

Sounds like you'd enjoy a coma :) Though I think at times you're actually conscious but can't fully wake, which might be frustrating and scary. We might already be dead. I have a theory that perhaps death is never known to the deathee. We continue in a self-created universe as we remember it with only the memory of death and events leading to it erased. This might account for some deja vu and the strange feeling of time not proceeding at the proper pace sometimes. Anyway, if you decide to do the coma.. I think an overdose of Tylenol will do it. Something about ruining your liver and launching a coma without actual death. I saw it on St. Elsewhere years ago. That's why Tylenol is not a good way to go for suicide attempts. You most likely won't die, but you'll seriously be fucked up and probably semi-unconscious forever. |

i'd be less bitchy. and less emo. and... a bit happier than usual. right now, things are just horrible. i'd like to have the hope that things will get better. |

I always have lots of ideas and resolutions and never managed to follow them. So for 2007 I'll set only "easy" things that will actually improve my life: - Study at home at least an hour everyday - Be less tolerant with my family - Keep trying to improve my guitar playing - Keep my love life at least as satisfactory as it is at the moment ;) That's it. I know my year won't be only about those four things, but I won't make further plans now because I know if I do, they'll fail terribly. But I basically want to keep my life the way it is now, just improving a few things here and there. |

- To try not to go too mad whenever I see a picture of Leland or he comes on the TV (well... no acctually scrap that, I'm gonna do that either way!) - To really knuckle down and play the keyboard properly - Try not to swear too much (fuck, crap, shit,... nah that won't work!) - Eat a proper roast dinner (I've been trying to do the resolution for years... it's gonna fail anyway!!) - To do well in my SATs exams and end of year exams - especially Maths!!! I suck at that!! |

Well. 1. I will concentrate on my music. 2. Get a shorter haircut. 3. Become Robert Plant. 5. Promise to never skip #4 again. 6. Get laid. Okay, that goal might be less achievable. Let's say... 2017, to be realistic. |

I always made the same resolution, year after year after year, and it never happend. So last year, I said, "Screw it! I'm not gunna make a resolution this year". Guess what happend? The thing I'd been making resolutions to do my whole life finally got accomplished, the year I didn't resolve to do it. So, I look at resolutions as a jinx, and therefore won't be making any. Besides, I can't predict where anything in my life is going to go in the next year, so why bother? :-) |

Well, I didn't make any for 2006, but I sure did for 2007. No more men-especially men exclusively from the Internet! After the recent events in New York, it will be a long time before I try the online dating thing again. It was a lot worse then just being robbed and being accused of robbing people, but I will not post details here. There are teenagers here who don't need to read the entire truthful story. How long will I stick to it? Well, I think forever, but probably only a couple months at most if I were being honest. |
