Gacks. Someone YouTube'd me. link
I daresay it was a half-decent performance, trying to channel Freddie Mercury with my baritone voice and lack of a mic stand.
if you read all books about freddie and know a little bit about him..he was originaly bariton..that is mesured when singing with opera voice...and proof of that is that montserrat caballe asked him to sing La Japonesa with his original voice....bariton..on high notes that he hits is shouting..bu it sound soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing!!!
people always get annoyed and say FREDDIE MERCURY IS A TENOR! TENOR! TENORRRRRRR!
no he wasn't, look at this <link>
TENORRRRRRRR! TENOOOOOR! TENOR!!!!!!!!!!!
sigh.
the excuse is no baritone could hit the notes freddie did
that's nonsense.. his speaking voice naturally probably was baritone, but it's fully possible to sing tenor and soprano, so i don't know where these people are coming from
Yikes!! Did anyone else notice there were people STILL there watching when he finished? It's as if the camera person panned round expecting to see an empty room!
I have to say though it takes guts to get up and sing Queen karaoke.
