Now the history of Queen, as I know it, the last interview Freddie did was the Mike Reid one in 1989. But I was on Queen cuuttings and came across this tabloid piece the day after his statement came out (the same he died) and it mentions a rare interview he gave the week before. link
I know not to believe tabloid trash but I think it's worth atleast a question... it seems like the retards are quoting the 1987 birthday interview. Those silly tarts. How could they're info be so shoddy when they claim to be a legitimate publication? Seems ridiculous to me.
That paper is full of it. They couldn't even say who wrote each song, and said Who Wants To Live Forever and The Invisible Man were written by Freddie..
did anyone notice while reading the article that it quotes marys age as 35 which would mean freddie started seeing her when she was 14!!!
good old news of the world,they never make things up to sell a paper :-}
Did Freddie really have like a male relationship in boarding school?
I swear he became gay while in Queen and was just camp before. Brian May said he was having a hard time discovering himself after Bo Rhap came out so I always thought it was slightly before that stage. Because on this tv show this guy was describing his relationship with Freddie which was before Bo Rhap came out cos he was saying how he found out that Freddie was still with Mary during their time together and I thought that was his first proper male relationship.
I'm sure he probably had some experiences there.. not necessarily a 'relationship'. It's quite common for folks to experiment sexually in their youth with either or both sexes. And a boy who has a tendency towards becoming gay, living with a bunch of other boys is probably likely to engage in homosexual experimentation. So he could have easily had some experiences and still considered himself 'straight' for awhile.
That article is FULL of errors.
They got his birth name wrong.
They even got his birthday wrong.
Anyone who takes this tabloid crap as gospel needs a slap.
