Total agreement BTT, total agreement.
Of course, this is coming from someone who broke a joystick while playing Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed.
The funny thing is, if I try to describe what happened, I sound sort of funny, but here goes...
Well, I was playing with my joystick for a while and I started to get a little rough with it when suddenly I heard a snap and it bent limply to the left. I had to buy a new one.
Yeah, don't try THAT at home...
Hah, I broke a joystick once playing Red Baron 2.
Hey, shut the fuck up. You try to land a fucking Sopwith Camel with just about everything shot up about it THEN call me violent.
That being - *cracks knuckles* - I pwnd Germany in that particular conflict.
I want it for my kids but I'm not going to get it for them for Xmas. I've already spent way too much money on them. I'll wait until the hype has died down a little.
To Lisser, that's the same exact thing my parents did with my brother and I for gamecube a couple of years ago. They waited a year after it came out and got it for us for Christmas the next year when it was a bit cheaper. It's a good idea with the wii, especially considering how hard they are to get a hold of.
I'm just fortunate enough that my dad wants the thing as bad as my brother and I, so they went all out to find one. :-P
And to the website, I thought that was hilarious.
Uh-huh. Did the same with the Xbox.
Apparently this is how the pricing in Australia for the Xbox.
AU$699 AUD (April 26, 2002, Launch Price) (Quickly dropped to $399 after 6 weeks to compete with launch of Nintendo GameCube)
AU$239 AUD (2004)
AU$209 AUD (2005)
AU$188 AUD (2006 Q2)
I purchased mine around the start of 2005/end of 2004 and that's about right. Wicked, dude!

I can imagine people will start suing Nintendo for damage to their households, when the problem is their own inability to g-r-i-p.
Seriously, why is this strap necessary? How many golf clubs get flung 40 yards on golf courses? DO Tennis Racquets regularly go further than tennis balls?
Surely the opposable thumb is a universal feature of homo sapien, not a sodding optional extra?

actually i have a wii and after playing games like tennis and boxing, you get sweaty hands and it can be easy for it to slip out.

A bit higher.
See that plane? Well, just over that is my point - SO far over your head.

P_G, you're going to be the death of me one day. I was eating choc covered cashews when I read this reply and I almost choked from laughing.
I heart you.
