Does anybody know if there was a European OST of the first original "Highlander" movie(not AKOM by Queen). The following soundtracks(URL's) I've already found, but their from the other movies (II - IV) or bootlegs and one original USA/OST i think.
Is this the only original OST(USA)- "Warner/Chappell Music Inc MKCD-0005-2"? besides the bootleg "Immortal Records MAGIC-CD 19851986"
INFO: Highlander soundtracks; link
Thanks, Rock It
There was (quite recently) a project of an unique OST blending Queen and Michael Kamen "ambiant" tracks. Brian was very in it, and i think he talked about it on his soapbox. Sadly, the tragic death of MK, postponed the whole thing which felt in to desuetude.
I'll try to crawl in BM.com archives, maybe i can find some interesting quotes by Dr Bri.

Yes indeed there was something on BM.com, i remember now. So I'm also gonna look for it on BM.
Thanks Starman,
Wouldn't it be great if Queen plus Paul Rodgers provided songs for the soundtrack of the new Highlander film! That would be great. Show what the other films have been missing! link
Best new melodic rock band on the planet!

Yes, great idea!!! Because the other "Highlander" movies(II - IV) are also CRAP!!
Did you guys ever notice that the pitch of Freddie´s voice in the movie is higher than normal. "Hammer to Fall" is a great example of this.
I don´t know if this only happens in the DVD version, or if it was speeded up since day one. Anyone has a clue?
Take care
PAL - SECAM - NTSC formats are the clues of VHS speed problems. The same for Live In Budapest, a little bit too fast, because of the need to adjust frame speed to be viewed correctly in certains parts of the world.
"utimates editions" of DVD's are often OK on this point.
A compliment to the band becomes a joke meanwhile...an archivist called Greg Brooks
is getting larger than life because he listened
to some unfinished stuff of the band exclusively.
Dr May, what test must the entire mankind pass,
to see a release of the lost INNUENDO stuff ?
Yet the Queen Bootlegs causing ear problems
nothing else than MILTON KEYNES and some ill
fated GREATEST HITS collections has been released
so far...the deal with Hollywood Records in 1991
wasn´t fair enough it seems.
i´m not willing to ask you gentle questions
about the universe or the sense of life, you understand what i mean??

THERES A NEW HIGHLANDER FILM COMING OUT! WHEN WHEN WHEN!!!
This album on the IMMORTAL RECORDS label is a bootleg, as the only label with that name is a Punk related record label.
You can also see this when looking at the back cover, it just does not look retail to me.
I downloaded it from a torrent site, and i cant'find any info on it anywhere.
Nice to have, but an official release would be best.
It must come out some day.
