Hello Miss Loaf, swallowing ones pride can be tough. But in order to force yourself to say you are sorry, you have to have in your mind that you might loose the person you have wronged from your life if you do not.

I don't say I'm sorry unless I really am.
Or am getting paid a significant amount of money to say it.
no what annoys me is when the person who really SHOULD be sayuing sorry doesnt, and you have to say it falsly to get it started, or sometimes theyll 'accept your apology' for it and walk away feeling stupidly empowered -_-'
Well, its complicated.....there are things that i am sorry for, and that i do want to apologise for, but....... The other person needs to apologise first, as they were the one that casused problems in the first place. Gaaaaah....

There's a technical name I have for that. It's called "having a girlfriend."

Hmmm. Sounds more like having the WRONG girlfriend.

You said in your original post that you 'know you have to apologize'. In that case, I'd say yes, it sounds like you should.
Why wouldn't you? Pride? What would you gain by not apologizing? What would you lose? Which is most important to you?
Ditch your friend. I spent 6 months sucking up to someone and thinking about apologies, but it's not worth it if they don't have the humanity to say one flipping word.
