AAh! Im being made to write a personal statement about myself. But I can't. Its not like im interesting or anything. Infact I don't even know what a personal statement is. :( There is a question like: Are you a member of a club, society, or committee? And I wrote I go on queenzone alot but I'm not allowed to write that!
In my experience, one always thinks that one is boring. Most of the time, other people find you fascinating.
You could approach it from the perspective of "What is something about me that might surprise other people?" You know, like being a Queen fan, or the fact that you like football and you are a girl, or figure skating and you are a guy. Just something about you that doesn't fit the stereotypical norm.
Hope this helps!
1. Who am I?
2. What are my strengths, beliefs, values.
3. What have I done?
4. Where am I now?
5. What do I want to do with my life?
6. How I plan to accomplish my goals.
The words you write are going to paint a picture of you to the reader.
Custard you are trying to describe yourself to other people. Write about your likes and dislikes, your interests. Do not worry if other people find you interesting or not, just be sincere. I would find it awkward to write a statement about myself, so i admire your effort to write one about yourself.

What's this for ? Knowing that might help people help you.
You could approach it in many different ways.
You can start with "I'm a fantastically amazing person ..." - but with a sense of humour so as not to sound too arrogant.
Or you could start, "I'm possibly the most boring person that ever lived" - but follow it up with genuinely interesting things to be "ironic".
Everyone thinks they're "boring". I've heard it from the mouths of Freddie Mercury and David Bowie. But I'm sure that they could tell stories that would interest people. I mean, you're special even if you're a man who ONCE wore sparkles on stage !
Just think of the things you've done... even "normal people" have things about them that are interesting.
To be honest, I don't really know what a "personal statement" is - if it's for school, you should ask the teacher.
Is this for UCAS at all? If so, good luck - i've just finished mine, and it was pretty hard work! just try and sell yourself as best you can, and don't bullshit, as you'll get caught out :P
