I hate steak. I never understood its appeal. Every steak I've ever eaten has been bland, chewy, and with no distinctive "good" taste. I much prefer my meats thoroughly prepared, seasoned, etc. Edit: Now I've become trite. I was hoping to be the first anti-steak post... |

Its not my favorite meal by any means. But if I have to eat it, well-done. |

My mother used to work in restaurants years ago, so i know what goes on in restaurant kitchens. When eating out i always ask for meats to be well done. |

I like mine put into a heavy-duty zip-lock bag raw, thrown out onto heavy traffic, trampled by horses, thrown into a football game where the players use that as the football instead, then taken back to a kitchen and cooked to a medium state. It will then be served to me on a huge plate (I like eating off of big plates) with some french fries. Good french fries, no wedges, none of that thick cut shit...just plain shoelace fries that aren't too crispy...and no ketchup! |

Bison steak, medium-rare. It's leaner than chicken, and it's loaded with flavor when my dad makes it. |

IMO...Personally I think the best kind of steak...(again, my opinion for the people who DO consume steak)...it is best to order it medium to medium-well....I think well-done is too dried out and hard to chew...But medium...it's soft...and YUMMY! :D Again...my opinion. :) |
blerp 02.12.2006 21:47 |
And rare just tastes like yummy blood! I keed! Remember from Mommy Dearest, when the mother kept making her daughter eat this one steak dinner...and the steak was rare...and all gross looking lol |

Cooking a steak blue is essentially showing the steak to a skillet and saying 'HOT! HOT!' Obviously it's not...it's searing the outside of the meat where the outside is hot but the insides stay bloody and cool. Mmm, taste-fucking-city - population = loser. I don't eat steak. I used to have it medium but like Music Man said, every steak I ever had was either undercooked, undertasted or grilled the living fuck out of so there would actually be more taste in eating a briquette. Marinade just doesn't do it for me. I wouldn't consider myself a fussy eater...just dun like steak. |

And if you're already going to eat it, why not make it as good as possible? Also, killing is inherent in everything. There are bee and insect traps everywhere, and ubiquitous anti-bacterial products kill countless bacteria. Mousetraps run rampant. Pest extermination has even become a profession. |
