on the making of queen's night at the opera special on vh-1, how great was it when roy thomas baker played the vocals and harmonies without the music - does anyone have the capabilites to do this on their computer??
It's impossible to do on a home computer. I'm sure there are official accapella or dts ripped acapellas out there.

I haven't seen it, but I would guess he was playing the master tape - and silencing some parts or something.
I really have no idea how that works. And no idea what I'm talking about.
Carry on !
The best part of that special is where Roger is sitting there playing an acoustic guitar singing "I'm in love with my car".... just him and the guitar.
I'd pay $25 bucks US dollar for the single of him doing the whole song like that.
I can't believe how many new topics have come up as the result of VH1(Classic) airing this show. It's like half of you guys never knew this existed before.
You can go to any store like Wal Mart or Best Buy and buy this on DVD, complete with 50 minutes of additional footage they didn't use.
It's been out since April.
