hey there everyone
by now everyone should of heard about the queen movie thats coming out???
my question you queen fans out there...
who do we think would play a great freddie??
i would have too say robbie williams could take it out alright but all the tattoos on his body they'll have too use computers too remove them in the movie but also james blunt could also play the role with flying colours.
i'll love too hear from other queen fans all see what you guys think about that idea.
thank you

I think they should find a persian actor that's not very famous to do it... that would be good. That'll be a hard role to fill. Johnny Depp would do alright, or that one doctor from ER...the really hot one with long black hair and an accent. I don't know, someone who's not afraid to play a gay man.
Well, it wouldnt be so much some one who would play a gay man, it would be more who is talented enough to play freddie. Im sure this perosn would need to be young enough to play 70's fredd, but then do 80's fredd as well. But i mean, what would the movie be about, Love? is that what it would be? I am sure it would be quite boring actually, unless they made it more Queen related and showed them climing to the top and staying there.... I dont know if i wanna watch a love movie about freddie.
omar sharif would be great, if he was much younger.
maybe joaquin phoenix? or johnny depp. or anyone not so famous.
but not robbie williams, he is a singer and not an actor, - if they chose someone like him they'd better stop making a film at all.
I think Johnny Depp won't care about playing a gay man. Otoh, I think a young actor who is not that famous would do for playing Freddie.
As I wrote somewhere someday, if they make Queen movie ( not Freddie movie), focussing on their younger days i.e. the pre-Queen era and the early Queen years would be interesting.
I think johnny depp would be ok, and keanu reeves could also fit into the role... but i think joaqin phoenix (or however he writes his name :D) would look perfectly as an 80s fred... and he's good in acting/singing too
roger could be played by jude law, ewan mcgregor, or hugh jackman... they all sort of look like him and all are good actors as well
john... no need to look around edward norton is perfect for him in my opinion
and brian... well i don't have any idea...maybe ioan gruffudd or a young ralph fiennes could do the job...

Robbie Williams?!
James Blunt...?!?!
Are you completely insane?
waited for me this. ... gives me terror anything but of thinking it....in short Freddie...patience where you are. ....anything but I wait that they make it with Gently and respect toward the best and more charismatic figure and only great voice of our dear Freddie.
Gabriel ( Barcelona )
Wait a minute...... who suggested James Blunt?!?!
If Freddie was a whiny tone deaf whore with a curious obsession for base jumping, then he'd be perfect for the role.
hahaha Samuel L. Jackson would be able to pull off that one concert moment perfectly, in his own way:
IT STARTED OFF SO WELL...
*no Piano*
Samuel: IT DIDNT START OFF SO WELL MOTHER FUCKER! DO I LOOK LIKE A BITCH? GET THE FUCKIN KEY RIGHT!
