Dear Queenzoners Notice I didn't say 'Moanzoners then!!! I must be after something... or 'summink' as some people say... or somethink... I just was wondering which of you are planning to send me a Christmas card this year??? I don't want to be presumptuous (can someone please tell Young_Twat_Man and Newcastle86 what presumptuous means), but should any of you old or young QZ-ers be planning a festive card and related gifts for your favourite archivist this year, then I'll have to set up a PO box address. Can you let me know asap. I can't put out my real address because some of you will doubtless descend upon me over the holdiday break and write all over my garden gate and fence again.Last ime, I got things like.... THERE'S ONLY ONE GREGGY BROOKS. GREG B... THE BEST ARCHIVIST THIS SIDE OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM. GB IS MY SOUL BROTHER.... (YV, 2004) GB IS THE LORD ALWAYS ARCHIVING, NEVER FORGOTTEN. (DONNA13, 2004) It took Togg, Poppy and Mike Preston four days to scrub it all off, and that's not on, is it!!!! Togg's Xmas dinner got cold, and everything! I honestly don't want you to spend too much this year. Perhaps limit yourself to 25 UK pounds. I'm not too religious or much into JC and the Christmas anniversary of his birth, and all that Jeruselum jazz, to be honest, but I do like presents and cards from those who love me and whom, despite their beastliness here on QZ, secretly regard me with affection and admiration. Please note: Not that I am a selfish person, or anything (anyfing, anythink???), but I cannot send out presents myself, to you guys... nor cards, nor even anything resembling a generous gesture, as I'm busy with wonderous Queen things for you lot of lovely fab and splendid folks to enjoy in the coming years and decades. Anyway... not more than £25, alright chums. |

I'll send you a dog shit with a Christmas bow on it. Don't expect a card, though. |

Cookies.... I'll send you a dog shit with a Christmas bow on it. Don't expect a card, though. GB: I don't get the Christmas connection. Is this something peculiar to the country you live in, which we don't have here????/ |

The dog ate holly berries. It gives a festive touch. |

Can I just ask too - have the builders already left your house? Man, it's really important! |

I don't believe I've ever been called lovely fab and splended before. *touched* *files sexual harrasment charges against herself* |

Yes. Thank you, Greg. I will need a PO Box for you. I'm very sorry about your garden gate. Don't know what got into me back then. I think it was just the Christmas spirit. |
Queen Archivist 11.11.2006 10:27 |
Donna.... MORE Christmas 'spirit' please. Rum is my tipple don't you know! :-) |

Shave your beard Greg, you look ridiculous. And no, you don't look like Santa at all. |

Hey Poppy... *Sigh* You just can't resist including my name can you, Greg? And yes, I will be sure to send you a christmas card. GB: In answer to your question. I can no more resist including your name in a posting, than you can resist taking lots of photographs of yourself until you get it just right and good enough to paste up for your QZ profile area. You take photographs of yourself at the very least every two weeks or so. What that's all about? And you're rather fond of those photo manipulation progs as well, aye. Nice. Will the Christmas cards you send out feature a photo of you too? And have you thought about wrapping paper? Have a lovely Christmas. I'm gonna buy you a great big photo album. Or two. |

Or two.Oh, now that was a low blow wasn't it, Greg? I have to say, you do have a point. As for the photo albums, I already have more than enough and another one will simply take up too much space in my already crowded bedroom. However, about the Christmas cards.. Yes.. I was thinking about maybe a little festive collage of myself. Although, I think wrapping paper might just be a little too much, I mean, I don't what anybody to think I'm self infatuated or anything. Anyway, it's photo time for me now. See ya! |

While I'm waiting for my 16 page Poppy/Greg pictoral, I would love to send you a Christmas card, but I've spent all my money on Queen T-shirts. And if it's just a card, it really isn't worth it, right? How 'bout a Kwanza cake? |
Queen Archivist 15.11.2006 04:27 |
Poppy, yes it was a low blow, indeed. Lower than a crocodile's dangly bits!! No matter, because unlike 8 of 10 QZ-ers, you do have a sense of humour. Wouldn't it be great if everyone else here did too? Just imagine the abundance of good feeling and festive merry cheer. It would be lovely, but is about as likely as YV buying me a pint at the next convention, or her and Togg eloping together. Hi Togg - how goes it? Hmmmm! I dunno... I think ruffling feathers and humour that doesn't translate very well, or at all, and certain people on this site simply NOT ever getting it, is much more fun. Now then... a pleasant card for Xmas if you please. Nothing religious on the front. No iconic Jerusalem scenes. I so hate it when people try to bring religion into Christmas, and when they put old JC's image everywhere, and donkeys and snow too. You'll see what I mean about lack of humour when certain people respond to this. Festive merriments and all that jazz, Poppy. I'll try to resist mentioning your name NEXT time, ok. |
