Johnny Depp would fit the "really incredible" category. I think Johnny Depp would be good at doing Freddie's speaking voice and mannerisms. Also, he still hasn't aged at all. So, you really could just add a wig and eye makeup, and he could easily be the 1970's Freddie. Also, Johnny Depp has that intense look in his eye when he is serious, the same "it" factor that Freddie had, and a very exotic look to him that would really work. Fine features and exotic look, slim body, perfect. I think they would have to use Freddie's voice for any singing in the movie. If John Deacon became involved in this project, it would not surprise me at all. I think he especially would want to see the project done really well.

i totally second this. even my non-Queenie friends agree that Depp would make a wonderful Freddie. if they dont cast him, i will definately cry...

Hey MORON! Who is 'he'? I did not quote a 'he'! I did not quote Brian or whoever you think I was quoting. I quoted a PRESS RELEASE from ANP. Something YOU can NEVER have read unless you work for some official journalist media in Europe! In this case YOU are the one that should FUCKING read MY quote properly instead of starting namecalling!
