| Marcelo_argentina 08.11.2006 22:26 |
I find every Queen xong as excelent piece of music...but just for fun...which song do you think is the worst of all Queen songs?.... I find "She makes me" very boring...what do you guys think? That´d be the worst song for me!...sorry Brian! |

| john bodega 09.11.2006 05:35 |
I don't believe Mustapha was even close to being their worst song. I actually think of it as Bicycle Race's mad cousin - both songs have been seen as annoying by some parties, but you can't deny the cleverness to be found in each track. Honestly? I find Pain Is So Close to Pleasure their worst song. There are others I'm not fond of, that I can at least listen to. That one, I have never ever listened to all the way through. |

This is my top ten worst Queen songs: 1. Body language (in any language this pure crap) 2. Rain must fall (This song must go) 3. More of that jazz (how about less of that crap) 4. My baby does me (sounds like a baby wrote that) 5. Machines or back to humans (how about back to Queen) 6. Cool cat (a dead cat would sound better) 7. Pain is so close to pleasure (this song is close to torture) 8. One year of love (muzak tripe) 9. Delilah (this is just plain embarrassing) 10. Man on the prowl (and they said they never repeat them selves) |

Worst Queen Songs 1. Party 2. Don't Lose Your Head 3. My Baby Does Me 4. She Makes Me 5. Leaving Home Ain't Easy.... "Hitman". Come on - "Love me baby / Don't be so cruel / Love me, love me baby / I've been to the hitman school..." Freddie may have very well been very sick when this song was recorded, but had he completely lost his marbles, as well? What terrible lyrics. |

I've seen this topic time and again and it never ceases to amaze me that of all subjects on the board, the worst and best songs by Queen are the posts that I am in the most agreement with. You guys nearly always pick songs that I often skip on the album. Songs like 'Loser In the End', 'She Makes Me', 'Don't Try Suicide', 'Pain Is So Close...', 'Hitman' and so on. What's incredible about Queen is that those are the worst Queen songs, and they are all still fantastic. Anyway, my vote is for 'Sleeping On The Sidewalk' or 'Jesus'. |
| dagi 10.11.2006 13:21 |
Worst song? There's no contest - in my opinion it's the final "hidden" track (number 13) on Made in Heaven. It's over 22 minutes of utter rubbish and I will never forget the disappointment I felt when I first heard it (I wrongly expected that it would be actual music). dagi |

Heh. I dunno why some insist on arguing with peoples' choices. It's just a matter of personal opinion. I went through the album tracks and came up with 13 tracks (I'm excluding Flash Gordon because I don't have the strength) which generally cause some annoyance depending on my mood: Jesus The Loser In The End She Makes Me (Stormtrooper In Stilettos) Sweet Lady The Prophet's Song White Man Mustapha Body Language Cool Cat Party I Can't Live With You Hitman You Don't Fool Me So out of those, to choose one that I really believe is the worst to me, I'd go with.. *Mustapha* Yeah, I coulda said that to begin with. I really never cared for that one. Almost no redeeming qualities, save for the part where it goes from mono to stereo. Nice heavy bits there but soon ruined by the lyrics returning. In narrowing down, my runners up where Jesus & Cool Cat btw ;) |

| deleted user 11.11.2006 21:09 |
Hmm..they didn't have many but I don't like ANY remixes, Flash, or Modern Times Rock and Roll (the music's good but it's annoying) Some of their 90's stuff is a bit too soft for my taste, all though it's pretty good for the 90's |

<font color=pink>The Millionaire Waltzzz wrote: I really can't see how many people dislike The Prophet's Song. It's a fuKCing masterpiece!I can explain why I dislike it. Actually for the most part it's a great song, but the whole Freddie vocal bit in the middle ("Now I know", etc.) is nerve-grinding. I don't care how brilliant the delays are, Freddie sounds like shit in that tone of voice. |
| SweetestSightEverSeen 11.11.2006 22:43 |
Okay, this topic is getting a little old, but here's my comprehensive list: Delilah(Someone else said it best, just plain embarassing) Body Language(this is good for a laugh, but it wasn't meant to be) The Loser in the End(could this be any more out of place on Queen II? Even on it's own terms it's terrible) Overrated Songs: Radio Ga Ga-It's pure pop. So is You're My Best Friend, but Radio Ga Ga seems to be like it's trying not to be. I'm In Love With My Car-Stupid lyrics, terrible vocal. Good Old Fashioned Loverboy-It's an okay song, but I would never consider it a "Greatest Hit" |
| deleted user 11.11.2006 22:46 |
Really? You don't like Loser in the End. I found it to be quite good, the vocals are good, lyrics are goofy but the music is kick ass the riffs are genious! I love the Prophet's Song... I disagree, Freddie's voice sounds good in whatever range it's in...but that's my opinion. |
| Dubroc 12.11.2006 08:37 |
There maybe no WORST song. Worst is something more bad than bad. So if the rest is bad there maybe something worst.... But one song I always skip on the album is The Miracle. (Don't know why no-one mentioned it yet). I just think the lyrics are over-done, the video was awfull and that's the reason it's the album I listen to the least. |
| Scott_Mercury 12.11.2006 09:27 |
I don't know why everyone hates Loser in the End so much.... there are about 7 songs on Queen 2 I dislike more. Of course I am one of the few here that doesn't consider Queen 2 the bands masterpiece.... In my opinion, Queen 1 blows Queen 2 out of the water, but I realize I am in the minority. It's cool how we all love the same band, yet for different reasons.... and most of the time, I can't even explain my own reasons for liking the songs I do. I am a guitarist, and I love the "rocking" side of Queen.... but for example, I find most of Brian's tracks on Queen 2 lame at best.... Can you believe...get this, you will all laugh, but I am not joking.... I like Brian's "Dancer" from Hot Space better than anything he wrote on Queen 2. |
| Donna13 12.11.2006 09:59 |
This has been a fun topic to read. I guess there is at least one song on each album that I hit the skip button on. It just depends on how patient I'm feeling. Also there are some songs that I would definitely turn the volume down on at stop lights (Don't Try Suicide), but that otherwise I enjoy. Ha. As for their hit songs I think that Radio Ga Ga was probably my first let down. Also Fat Bottomed Girls was sort of odd (lyrics). I think there were other songs that should have been released as their singles instead. |

I,ve already mentioned Body language as the worst Queen song ever but I have to add Soul Brother and the truly awful A Dozen Red Roses to that list. But for Queen songs that's all the songs that I actually hate. For the rest there are obviously some songs that I like a lot more than others but no other Queen songs that I actually dislike. |

New list. Opinions change. *More of that jazz (Poor quality imo.) *Machines or back to humans (Not my cup of tea, thanks) *46664 (Not Queen at all. very stupid. *Body language (This song scares me and makes me cringe at the same time) *Tenement funster (Not my favourite song!) *Modern times rock n roll (Cheers on ruining Q1, Roger) Drowse (A lot of people like this like its BoRhap but i'm not sure why...It kind of scares me!) Headlong (Riffs are nice but the lyrics and everything else...) Party (Not a fan of party music) Khashoggi's ship (Oh look at me! i'm a badass! Is the message in this song.) The whole Flash gordon soundtrack (Seriously. listen to it.) And now, since a lot of the songs in my list are roger songs, I decided to give him praise for one of my favourite Queen songs of all, I'm in love with my car. I don't hate on roger! |

"I want to break free", Its a great little song. Had it not been extended and 'poppified' and remained an album track and not a single with a (typically exuberant for the time) video, it would have been a real gem near the top of most peoples favourites.... |
| Troll101 13.06.2015 12:59 |
I basically Hate hate the whole Innuendo album except Delilah, I love Hot Space, Except Under Pressure, thats just some random David Bowie crap. The Works is meh, The Miracle is more like The Disaster, A Kind Of Magic is horrendous expesialy Who Wants To Live Forever(I think I want to die after listening to that BS). Jazz Sucks, Made In Heaven is terrible and is an insult to Freddie Mercury's Great Music |
