I've downloaded a lot of the concerts that have been posted here on QueenZone (THANKS A LOT!!)
...and I'm wondering about how I can get them on a CD...?
All of the concerts are in FLAC-format, and I have really no idea how to do it.
Please help me! It would mean a lot to me :)
THANKS!!
I don't think this is the apropriate forum for this, but here it is for you:
Download Flac Frontend (it is free), just google for it.
This is the software you use to convert WAV to FLAC and vice-versa.
It also comes with a plugin for Nero (alows to record audio CD's directly from FLAC) and a Winamp pluguin (to listen directly to FLAC files)
Once you have it you can then burn audio CD's from FLAC files.
If you have enough disc space however i recomend you first decode to WAV and then burn the audio CD's from the WAV files. I also recomend you use a low recording speed (8-10X tops). This will significantly reduce the chances of introducing digital errors and is more likely to produce discs that play in any stereo sistem.
If you can I also recomend you burn your FLAC files to DVD (data), as a backup. You can usualy fit five or six shows in a single disc.
Hope this helps.
PS: one thing, When I instaled Flac Frontend, I found it wrote the Nero plugin in the wrong folder. If you can´t burn FLAC to audio check that the plugin is in the apropriate folder.
