I forgot to add that you may only say nice things about the Darkness here.
No "Junkie Hawkins" shit. :P
He's clean now, okay! Get over it! Like Freddie didn't do coke!
(Hint: Freddie did coke. Lots of it.)

I only heard "I Believe in a Thing Called Love". I thought it was cute (ah... that was about the time I stopped listening to the radio altogether... not their fault... just the overwhelming surege of rap...).
And I don't care about all the drug things. Yes, drug ABUSE is bad. But I mean... cigarettes are legal... so are a bevy of alcoholic beverages - and though the second one purports health benefits, I've heard nothing astounding that gives a great reason the former should be a tradeable good (other than the money thing, of course).

The music video was cute, too. I saw part of it in a store once.
I've loved a million threads in a belladonic haze... do you really think I would remember one in particular ?
And that is not my baby - so stop asking.

The Darkness certainly do rock. I have to say (to answer The Millionaire Waltzzz's question) that I love One Way Ticket a little better than PTL because of the band's experimentation. Just listen to The Blind Man! The orchestration on that song totally kicks A$$. However, Permision to Land definetly was a perfect debut album from start to finish. It's a shame that they lost their front man. He'll be missed.

I gotta say that I totally agree with you on everything you just said.
Justin will be missed, indeed.
Yeah, Justin Hawkins has something that a lot of rock stars don't have nowadays. He has balls. He wasn't afraid to finally just come out and say he had a problem...okay, it took him a while, but hey, cut him some slack! Besides, he has one of the best vocals I've ever heard in metal for a long while. Some people call it annoying, I call it METAL. Its dirty, heavy, loud, obnoxious, and in your face! ROCK ON!
Really, the first time I heard Justin's voice I was totally blown away. So fucking amazing.
I just couldn't believe my ears when I heard Knockers, during the chorus.

The Darkness are more than ok!!! They kick ass!!!
They actually have talent, something a lot of bands these days are missing. However, I will respect your opinion.
As talentless as some of today's bands are, I can't pin point one worse than the darkness.
Well, except for The Cheetah Girls and all the Disney fabricated acts.
