Gerard has told NME magazine that he loves Queen. So, that's maybe why you see him dressing abit like Freddie. My Chemical Romance is a EMO band, just incase you didn't know.
hey...I DID notice there's some sort of connection between Gerard Way and Freddie Mercury.
Rolling Stone referenced Queen's 1970's sound in comparison to the sound of MCR's latest album "The Black Parade" (which I have ordered off of amazon.com)
It's also evident that Gerard is a big Queen fan, although it's tough to make a connection between Queen's hard rock sound and My Chemical Romance's emo-fueled punk/alternative sound.
Either way, both MCR and Queen are great bands, just in different ways. Queen's on a WAY higher level than MCR, that's a fact.

but it sucked...
It wasn't THAT bad...
I don't mind a little, and I said LITTLE bit of emo every once and a while...
it was...well...eh. then again when i heard it, my friend sat me down and showed me a video of it...so i havent heard the studio ver.
i'm not fond of anything emo or mainstream. AND I HAVE LISTENED TO MOST EMO/MAINSTREAM BANDS, mind you...but i never liked them...the constant rythmithic guitar and screaming/yelling i find very untalented.
but thats just one perons opinion. i dont make a difference to anything.
My dad has a moustache, so he is a Freddie. Also, most women in Afghanistan have a moustache too, even more Freddies. So, the Queen+PR problem can easily be solved.

I like My Chemical Romance..... they aren't a thing to say "Wow, it's the best", it's just a good band... (I think I like almost every rock band =P). When I read the thing that Gerard said about the Queen infleunce on their new album, I thought "Oh, it will be great"... and it was like that, I think "The Black Parede" is a great album, but I don't find much Queen influence, it's just My Chemical Romance doing an concept album... Yes, the influence exists, in the song "Welcome To the Black Parede" are lots of things of diferent Queen songs; but in fact they do not sound like Queen in the mayority of the rest of the songs. Oh but if you see the Welcome to the Black Parede video, you will watch some things of Freddie.
And I like the version of Under pressure they did with The Used.

I liked MCR...until I realized that all of their albums are the same. After a while, listening to songs that are only about hate, death, and hell is just not fun anymore.
