Nobody knows where John is, there isn´t a recent picture of him, no interviews, etc, why do you believe that this kind of information would get to your ears? Even if he writes, you must consider that a rumour like that is just that... a rumour! Unless you know one of his kids, i don´t know why people still believe this kind of "innuendoes". Take care |

It was well known that he posted on the chat rooms in the early days but I think that was often on the fan club site possibly some others, whether he still does or not I guess depends on how far out of the Queen business if wishes to stay. |

I do believe that John visits and posts on these forums. From what I heard, he uses a girly name as his screen name, so that the people he's talking to dosen't know that it's him. So, watch and think about what you're typing, because you never know who might be reading. ;-) |

I never figured John would be the type to be computer-litterate, but I'm pretty sure he reads the boards once in a while. I think it's totally normal for a band/band member to want to check out what their fans are up to. It's kind of like checking up on your kids. I had seen those comments in the guest book back a few days after they were posted in 2004. I remember it created a small stir in the fan community, as there was debate as to wether or not it was the real John, as some had a hard time believing Deacy would go so far as to actually say that he likes to collect cheques for "doing nothing". Interesting now to hear that it has been "confirmed" to actually be him. Yes, it is a well known fact that John haunts the message forums. Not just this one mind you...several. He was always quite keen with reading the message forums in the early days of the internet and commented on it regularly in printed interviews and the FC Mags. He had a ball....and nobody knew who he was which was part of the appeal i am sure. It was confirmed years ago that he frequented chat rooms and also had regular conversations with people who had no clue whatsoever who he was. One can only assume that this may still be going on, but no one knows for sure except him at this point. I know in the past he was a regular...today, who knows? He's out there.......the elusive mysterious Sir Deacon. :) |

Crystal ( Roger's assistant) used to talk about it on the FC wesbite a few years back. I know John talked about it himself in a couple of his letters to the Fan Club Mag back in the mid-90's...going on about how much he enjoyed it.
