just out of interest i'm not technically minded but any chance of analyising my flac recordings to see if you can guess what tape deck i use to play tapes???,i do have a good software program so i've been told(adobe audition 1.5)which i use to record onto pc....a prize for the correct answer...good luck!

It sounds very unlikely to be able to tell which tape deck you use, but hey who knows, technology amazes me everyday.

I use FLV to listen to FLAC and i was having problems listening to "Saturday´s night...", but then i opened the file with Mediacoder (free software) and no problem at all. I think your files are good too. Try this: Decode the file with FlacFronted and then tell me if it´s OK or not, or try to listen with other program. If they are indeed corrupted, i will upload them for you. Take care
