Hey All,
I just think it would be interesting should bri and Rog go for a new band name, i know they probably wont but if they did i think would be funny should they go by the old name of "smile". I mean, they have come a full circle. If you listen to some of smiles work it does queen-ish, obviosuly with Brians Guitar work. There is even a song that sounds like flash from smile. Ofcourse, it wont happen, but it would be interesting, to go back to were it all started. That would make a story.

I already answered this question in a previous thread.
All they have to do is take the R from Rodgers and replace the N in Queen with it. That'll sell a lot of records...
QPR...mmmm...why give the one new man the 2/3 overhand in the name? BMRTPR doesn't sound nice...mmmm...like a fart...
maybe "the amazin' rock 'n roll grand-daddy's" is an idea?
or : "we are too old really, but we just don't wanna know about that, darlings" ...guess Freddie would like that one!
or remembering Brian's falling in holes on stage all the time in the USA...: "the break a leg - bunch"...i don't know...it isn't Queen, it's half of Queen.
IF John were to join them for studio recording only, then it would be okay...but i think he won't join in...
maybe: "50% Queen + 100% PR" would do? the PR would be a playfull twist for both the man, aswell as the enormous PR-campaign that is most likely to be organised to promote whatever they come up with....it would be the most honest of all names i guess?
