Here is another one any Queen fan should have, and in the best quality available. I just got this in a trade and thought it would be a nice gift to all of you. One thing, the lineage presented bellow was not given to me by the trader. It was compiled by me by comparing my recording (tracklisting, track length, etc) with the info of the recordings of other collectors. Any imput on making this lineage more acurate will be welcome and highly apreciataed. This is the INFO file included in the download: Flac fingerprints and EAC logs also included, please pass them on in future shares/trades of the recording. ----- Artist: Queen Date: 1976-12-26 City: London Venue: Hammersmith Odeon Quality: OUTSTANDING Lineage Aud ? > ? > Silver Bootleg > CDR (X) > WAV (EAC) > FLAC (Level 8) From the "Complete Kampuchea Concert", Gipsy Eye label Rare complete version of one of Queen's most famous concerts and best performances. I could be wrong, and this is not could not be the gipsy eye version. Like I said the lineage above is not 100% acurate. I mostly "gessed it" as I explained above. An informed gess but a guess nonetheless. However, both the tracklisting and track lenghts of the gipsy eye release are consistent with this version. If anybody can shed some light on this I would apreciate it. The quality apreciation is of couse always subjective, but to me this sounds abolutely FANTASTIC. |

There aren't many people left who believe in God nowadays ... Back to topic: I compared this version to my MP3 version and it seems that this one (FLAC) is edited: It sounds like there was some noise reduction applied and the bass is much louder and not very clear (EQ'd afterwards?). The bass of the MP3 version is clearer but the tape hiss can be annoying. This FLAC version still sounds better than the MP3 version, simply because of the lower noise level. |

Calm down, God. You're being treated rather respectfully compared to some replies in other threads. If you have an even better version of this show – even if you aren't allowed to share it – could you please tell me, if it's the same audience source than this one, but better mix or lower generation, or if it's the soundboard recording that we all know exists (because of the partial official release)? Thank you! |

Thanks, MDNA, my guess is that Gipsy Eye made the editing. I'm just curious about the origins of my unedited MP3 files. It seems that there's indeed another, lower generation version that isn't edited. Mabe the version "God" refers to? God, has your version tape hiss, but very clear bass? |

So far, I only find the best version on 'Complete Kam...' Gypsy Eye 2 cd (silver Pressed). But, ofcourse there is a proffesional recording in the Queen arcive. Well, the show was filmed and audio recorded (as all 'mania' Queen fans know), but will it ever be released??? Wonder how long time we have to wait. Probably a long time, since now when Brian & Roger have project with Paul Rodgers. Not much pure 'Queen' records will be released, as long as this 'band' are released records. Really hope I take wrong, but.... Best link You might find info you need of un-officialy recordings. |

Also note that the track listing given is the complete concert. Always have a look at websites like queenconcerts.com or queenlive.ca to see what material is available. Some people have years of experience with this stuff and have a pretty good idea of what's out there. :) Hope this helps. |
